The war starts with Prahast commander of Lankan army and Durmukh another strong warrior of Lanka this information Vibhishan tells Ram as they attack. Hanuman and Sugreev along with their soldiers repulse the attack.
Trijata comes to Sita who along with the eternal lamp is praying and chanting the mahamrutunjaya jaap or the long life of Ram. The warrior comes in front of Sugreev and insults him saying I cant fight with a coward like you who got his own brother killed it is an insult to me and Sugreev replies he fought for dharma and asks his opponent to also fight for dharma and not Adarma.He then asks Prahast to fall at the feet of SriRam and apologize so that his life can be saved. This angers Prahast and he starts fighting. Durmukh challenges Hanuman saying you are the one who burnt lanka I will kill you then Hanuman says why are you bragging like a coward come and attack me let us fight and then Durmukh and Hanuman fight.On the other hand Sugreev and Prahast fight 1st as he keeping on throwing arrows Sugreev saves himself and then breaks his chariot with his mace and then all fight with maces. Ram Lakshman and Vibhishan watch the Lankan army taking a beating . Lakshman wants to finish the war by killing all but Ram stops him saying they have to follow the rules of war. Vibhishan is thoughtful and Ram asks him what happen he says Lankesh who has won the three worlds with his strategic warfare how can e fight this war so simply he must be having some ulterior plan which we cannot see. Just then Akampana with her army of eunuchs attack from behind making noise and start killing the monkey army from behind. Vibhishan says the army has to get over and attack Akampana and his army. He also tells Ram and Lakshman that because of this person Lankesh could make a schemed to kidnap Sita. Both Ram and Lakshman get angry he asks permission from his brother to kill the sinner and Ram gives him the permission to kill Akampana. Lakshman goes. He throws an arrow to stop Akampana from killing a monkey chief. Akampana makes sound and his army rushes towards lakshman who keeps on throwing arrows on them and killing them . They stop and Akampana says this is my enemy and I will kill him.
The war is going on and sometimes the enemy have an upper hand and sometimes the monkey army. Hanuman fells Durmukh and then throws him towars Lanka saying you came to defeat me now go and asks Ravan what you should do.The sounds and his falling make the earth move and in the court Ravan his mother and Meghnath are angry.
Sita is chanting Mantra
Trijata comes running towards Sita and tells today's war is very ferocious and Akampana and his warriors are killing the monkey army. Sita smiles reassures Trijata and tells this war is for the winning of Dharma and the sinners will get punishment as per their deeds and at last Dharma will be victorious.
Akampana says why have you come alone you love your brother so much both should have come so that I will kill you together.Lakshman says he will take revenge for all the troubles Sita had to face in Lanka from the wicked Akampana and bother throw arrows at each other but they break and Akampana is surprised.
Sugreev defeats Prahast breaks his neck and shouts a war cry of victory. Akampana aims another arrow but the string of his arrow breaks. He runs with the bow towards lakshman who aims an arrow at the bow and breaks it. Akampana then runs towards him with the wheel of a chariot but lakshman airms any arrows and hit him and he falls down. Lakshman moves towards him. Ram Hanuman and Vibhishan look on and Lakshman returns Akampana opens his eyes. Vibhishan says this is Akampana a worshipper of Kal Bairav and his life is in his skull to kill him you have to break his skull. Akampana follows Lakshman with his sword Hanuman flies and lands in front of Akampana and hits on his head with the mace.Lakshman turns and then touches Hanuman's arm for saving him and all Akampana army bows . Hanuman then hails Jai SirRam and the army also hail him.
PRECAP Vibhishan tells Lakshman all have lot of magic powers and great warriors and it wont be easy to defeat them. Ravan calls three great warriors and says they will bring victory to us.
