No I have not seen Imagine TV wala. I have seen old Chanakya in DD which was good. But I was a child then.

How I wish it was some sensible PH which is taking CGM. CGM is not just about him, but that journey of establishing the Maurya empire is one hell of a analyst delight.

I have not seen old Chanakya

But heard a lot about it

Imagine one was the real epic

They didn't care for trps

Just gave the real story

The young boy who played CGM was v popular but they didn't drag his part as we see in other history shows..

In 4 months only the elder CGM entered

And best was that the show was blessed with amazing trps

Chanakya was played by Manish Wadhwa (Vishwamitra of skr)

Young CGM was Rushiraj ( Kartik in mahadev)

And elder one was Ashish

And dhanand ( Suraj Thapar)...

They were just FAB !

Unfortunately with imagine TV shut down they couldn't complete the show...

Now it reruns in Dangal TV

And even now its the highest trp rated show of that channel😲

At least trp audience show brain in some place 😆

Nowadays which PH is good

Even CAS PH didn't do justice to CGM story

I wish the Star MB PH made this

Or maybe Nikhil Sinha

They would have been better than EK 😆

@aditi do you know one thing, the moment I had heard about CGM as a show I had imagined only Ashish as CGM. I don't know why. But from the pages of the book I have read only he fitted my imagination of CGM and you are telling he has played that role. What a coincidence.

Yes Swastik, Nikhil Sinha , Fortune Productions, Beyond Dreams, Cinevistaas anybody could have taken it. I am not telling it will be perfect, but it will not be murdered

You know di, that CGM ended abruptly on the day of CGM's Rajya abhishek in Gandhar

Since that time I wanted Ashish to come in a king's role and Manish Ji to be his guru 😆

And my wish came true in SKR 😳

Yes agree ... Nowadays due to trps little bit of twisting of story is needed, but with EK it will be totally butchered

Agree Shruthi..if dats EK, then big satyanash is in the making...dint watch any CGM series but one of my senior colleagues was a big fan and a regular viewer of Imagine CGM...in some spare time in office, all he had to do was to watch the show as he was completely in awe with the content of the show...i guess that was one good and well executed show with apt content required for justifying the political setting.

Don't worry

And skr promo was given a year back before its launch
Ashish was chosen about 8 months back and Madirakshi was chosen 7 months before it started...

So CGM will at least require 8-9 in fact even a year to go on air😆

I wish it was the same CGM by Sagar Art Films
Manish Ji, Rishiraj and Ashish and Suraj ...

Just hope EK doesn't mess with Chandragupta like she did with Akbar...

Can you give me any website officially announced. Siya ke Ram is the slot leader for the 8 pm time. It has lesser trps than few shows on star plus but it still is the slot leader at 8 pm. Its very difficult to end the story by august.
