Today Ram says a very prominent dialogue. Adharma gets defeated only when someone stands against it. You have to face adharma head on. Only if you face it head on even God can help you. Sugreev knows Adharma has happened to him. But without facing it even when he get allies if he sits no one can help him. If you look Ram is standing against Adharma. He knows what happened to his wife and to himself is Adharma and he wants to fight it. He has come there to get support to find his wife, support for his war against adharma. For that he can have an ally who can stand upto adharma. That's why he is asking Sugreeva to go again wearing the flower garland.I loved the colors chosen for the garland red and white. Red is usually the color of love, but it is also the color of war. White it is the color of peace. Red and white entwined shows only if war is fought against adharma, dharma wins and peace prevails. Constant vigil is required against adharma for peace. War and peace are two interwined entities.

Same time when Ram encourages Sugreev to stand upto adharma we see Sita standing upto adharma. Ravan comes and tells her he will marry her forcefully. She tells him a chaste woman marries only once and she is married to Ram and tomorrow it will be his power and her power of chastity. Now when we come to chastity lot of importance is given on physical purity. But chastity is over and above physical purity. Ravan forcefully dragged Sita but that doesn't take away her chastity as mind has only thoughts of Ram. And we need to understand that someone can erode our physical space, but only we can allow someone to erode our mental space. Chastity is maintain the clean thoughts in mind. Duty bound to the relation , duty bound to the husband without anything in Lanka distracting her from it. Such a strong will on its own forms the defense for Sita. Such a standing of Sita is what enables Ram to decimate Ravan. Her fight with the power of her thoughts that doesn't allow him to touch her becomes Ravan's downfall. Sita shows us the path to keep our thoughts clean. To have dedication to one's husband in thoughts completely. If thoughts is clean no one can touch the physical space too.

Now we see 2 ladies Tara and Mandodari. Tara who is unable to stand upto the adharma, but wishes strongly what her husband is doing adharma and he should be punished for it even if that means death.

Mandodari tries to protect once again her adharmi husband. Tara doesn't fear retribution of adharma. She knows it will come. Mandodari fears retribution. She knows it will come, but instead of trying to stop it strongly take half baked actions to protect her husband. That's why Tara happily sends her son Angad for the mission to find Sita. She has already accepted her fate. We cannot change fate of someone else if they themselves don't try. Without any change in Ravan Mandodari cannot change him

Lakshman and Ram. Lakshman talks about punishment for him because he broke the order of his brother. He doesn't realize watching the pain of his bhaiyya for the rest of his life time is going to be his punishment. He cannot have another pain. The pain of separation he gave Urmila, his brother and bhabi taking it for the welfare of the society he will see. With open eyes Lakshman will witness the worst pain every day for his bhaiyya and bhabi. He couldn't prevent that even when he decided to go against Prakriti for their protection.

14.6.2016 CONTD

In the earlier part I had not discussed the Lanka scenes, which I will discuss now. Shurpi blames Raavan for her problems in life and says he has fallen prey to the woman who is the reason Shurpi is doing all this, the reason she has lost her self respect. This shows how dangerous repentance and living in the past is. If she thinks about her past, all she thinks about is her Apmaan and what followed. She repents it. Living in the past if itself not a big crime, she repents it too. And even if she repents, she doesn't see what she learnt from her past. This is the mistake people do. They repent their past, blame circumstances but do not understand what they should learn from it. Raavan becomes a victim of Karma, his own and the Karma towards his sister. And as an ultimate solution, he decides to kill Shurpi. This is the kind of thought narrow minded people have; no direct solution, stop the thing.

Meghnad on the other hand falls prey to Adharma at the hands of his father. He plans to kill Shurpi with slow poison. But what he doesn't get is the poison is indirectly killing him. Just as Ram said, when a person comes into contact with Adharma, his fall comes closer to him.

Solo's idea of saving someone is good, but she doesnt see how and to whom she helps. She stakes everything for someone who is equally wrong as the others. I feel her helping Shurpi symbolises trying to make a penguin fly. Even though it is a bird, it can never fly for it is not made for that. In the case of a penguin, his wings do not let him do so, while in Shurpis case, even if she runs away, her mindset will never let her adopt Dharma.

15.6.16

We see Sugreev still doubting Ram for his capability to beat Bali. The reason is simple; presumed notions. Once an idea is instilled into us from eh starting, it is very difficult for it to break, specially if the idea makes us weaker in front of it. Sugreev has it instilled in him that Bali is invincible, but the truth is Bali is defeatable. Ram has proved that through his deeds. Yet because he has never seen so happen, he can't trust Ram completely. Still, he agrees to fight, only because he knows if he dies, someone else will be responsible. And when he says Dharm is on his side, what he looks over is that he also has to be on Dharms side, and one of the main pillars of it is Trust. Unless you trust Dharma, it will never be by you.

The court of Lanka symbolises a zoo. Though in their natural habitat, each of the beings wants to move freely, with their own ideas and terms. Raavan is blind in arrogance and wants everything his way, Kaikesi blind in Moh, Meghnad in his fathers service. Mandodari and Sulochana have a positive notice, but the things they do to execute them are done blindly. Sulo chooses death over life in the court, for she realises the court is such a zoo she can never be free from. This is the thought people with a suicidial instinct come at face to. They believe death is an escapade. It is not, in fact it shows your loss in life. And people feel this the most when they are questioned for something they did right, like Sulo. They do not wait to see the aftermath, they only see the immediate reaction of their actions. If people would have waited to see what can happen later, many suicides could have been avoided.

Sita sees the tree as her partner, her confider. Because in the hardest times in life, when one is lonely, people take shade under the things they might have never wanted to be attached to or thought of attaching too. Siya chose a tree, while some other choose harmful things. One becomes an anchor through the dark time, the other a silent killer. When trijata brings an idol of Vishnu, the form she saw, she depicts that god is not same for all. He is different, but the essence is what makes them same.

And when Ram is confused about which is Bali and which is Sugreev, he shows dilemma in taking decisions. (I know, this is a bit too deep ;) )

A wrong decision can ruin a life, and half knowledge in taking a desicion is even more dangerous.

16.6.16

The episode began with Mandodari telling Raavn he is equally a culprit as Sulo. Kaikesi objects, the sole reason being the idea of making Raavan a kind by power, and doing Adharma is hers. Often people feel hurt when their ideas are disrupted or taken over. For Kaikesi, her teaching Raavan to be adharmi is right, so when Mandodari tells him to be wrong, she fears Raavan will change his mind and all her years of her brainwashing will be wasted. She doesnt see what MD says is actually correct. And then Raavan does the worst thing; tries to favour the world for him.Whenver one has tried to control nature, their fall has happened. By using his power, Raavan tries to marry Sita and bring the world in his favour, but the truth is that is what brings his end. He feels he has taught a lesson to MD, but he actually has opened the chapter of a book whose lesson he will learn for the rest of his life.

Sugreev asks Ram why he didnt kill Bali. Sugreev being beaten was the result of his own half knowledge. He didnt tell Ram he and Bali were twins, had he said, he needn't face the burnt. WHat Ram said was pure truth, unless you believe in Dharma, Dharma will not stand by you. Many people in the world today do things in the name of Dharma, but what they dont get is if Dharma tells them to do so or not.

Then Raavan comes to tell Sita he will marry her. He says he waited for her answer, but now he won't wait. Rejection of refusal is one of the worst qualities one can possess. At any time in any place, people have to learn when to say NO and when to hear NO.

Sita obeys Dharma, and his hence confident Dharma will help her, unlike Sugriv. MD calls for Trijata and makes a plan for her to get Sita out. They do not think about their strategy. Someone like Raavan they take easily. It is a big lesson I have learnt in my life that no matter how well you are, there is always someone better and they might be stronger. However, she still stands to her will, unlike Meghnad, and fights for a woman respect rather than giving in to a command.

And when Ram looks at the moon and tells his sorrows to Lakshman, it is very painful. He tells that the value of a person increases after they go ,which is true. When he get something after a long struggle, we cherish it. And thats why certain things are best kept for the long run, for they are enjoyed the most. Lakshman thinks he is the cause of the troubles, and it is natural for him to think so. But there is a very interesting paradox here. Ram and Sita both love each other immensely, but the feeling Ram and SIya have in their separation are somewhat different. Ram feels guilty, lost and broke. Siya on the other hand knows her Ram will come to her and she is hopeful. The sole reason for this is; Siya knows she had nothing to do in the Haran, whereas Ram knows he could have saved her. Also, Sita through Uma knows the purpose of their separation, while Ram doesn't. A big truth of the world is revealed, the more awareness or understanding of the situation one has, the more calm and happy he is.

THANKS!!

@Anu I loved your comparison of Lanka Sabha to Zoo😆😆. Actually when we dont follow dharma that is what we become. Animals without thought process.
And yes during sad times you can try to anchor yourself like Sita does or you can lose yourself in illusion with the help of alchohol and drugs blaming the situation

@DD go read Seven Vows and analyze 😆😆

Complexities chapter 13 updated 😆 go and analyse that. 😆
I'll read before sleeping shruthi. 😛

And yes I do have an idea for today's episode. That I feel you have presented differently.

I'll try if my thots are coherent I'll post. As you know, I end up connecting all weird things 😆

Right now am pretty sairatified 😆 I may end up connecting everything with the movie. This idea was lingering in my mind from the time I watched the episode today morning. I was stuck at Sita's stand against Ravan. And at night the episode was very much the same. If every scene fits the bill I'll analyse in that direction or else the precap for tomorrow has great potential 😉

SIYA KE RAM- 16/6- SAIRAT

This analysis and post is solely dedicated to two souls and two humans: Ram and Sita.

So after a lot of introspection I got nthn better than this 😆

Its extremely odd to relate something like this. But i really can't help doing this especially after watching the movie and the episode.

Many may relate the title with Lakshmila and not SiRa.

"Sairat" is a marathi word used in the 16th century which means free, wild, untamed and unstoppable.

A very interesting facet that I came across the dynamics of Sita and Ram in the past episodes is the "freedom of mind" and "freedom of thoughts" which they express without hesitation.

I loved the scene where Ram says she had accompanied them to the forest for him. I couldn't help relating the movie here. In fact we have discussed this before. A dream that became a reality and then a nightmare.

The couple traversed with the dream of being together. The intuition, the connect, the feelings everything so pure were nourished with a dream. The dream then turned into a reality as they both were together in the forest. But this reality soon turned into a nightmare once a monster crept into their lives. First time a visible monster and the next time an invisible vicious force.

But what is it that connected them?

Their unstoppable quest for righteousness. Their passion for truth. Both challenged their surroundings fearlessly. They won. They won for a while but they lost to their own people.

I took a lot of time to think yesterday of what can it be. As it is shruthi had said everything 😆 I couldn't help selecting "Sairat"

And see both the scenes. One at lanka and other at Rishimukh parvat.

Sita is abducted but her mind is free. She can't go out but her mind is free of all the chains. Ravan tries to take hold of her mind. He gives her time. He tries to tame her.
But the results are as expected. Kali is untamed. There's no change in the Sita who was abducted and who was now after a few days.

Ram is helpless but not once is he taking a break. His ultimate aim to get back Sita. On his journey he never thinks once before helping Sugreev. His passion and love for truth has resulted in this. Shruthi you took up the red and white 😆 same to same from my end too. But you garland a person especially after he/she wins. The garland for me somewhere signaled towards Sugreev's much awaited victory.

I loved the way Ram said that you understand the value of a person in their absence and lakshman nodded in agreement 👏

If the movie was all about staying together and facing everything head on with the wilderness in the hearts of protagonists, SiRa's journey is not different.

Even in the decision of their destiny they not once shun away from following their free thoughts.

Even when Sita was banished, the separation was in terms of King and Queen and not as husband and wife.

Their freedom of thoughts, passion, wilderness is reflected in their kids. Not once do their kids think before capturing the ashwamedha horse, not once do they think before fighting everyone, not once before they think before questioning Ram and Ayodhya.

We get the flip side to this in Lanka and Kishkindha.

Sulochana is chained. She is trying to be free and untamed but as Mandodari said her trust on Meghnad proved to be fatal. The freedom of her thoughts tries to be in a direction which has no goal.

The same thing applies for Mandodari. She tries to be free, untamed and expressive but look how kaikasi puts everything to rest.

Mandodari, Sulochana and Surpankha try to break barriers but their abode in the first place is a very wrong place and they have sold their brains in some fish market. 😆

Just like Ram suggested Sugreev, take a stand.

Sulochana and Mandodari stand up. but for whom? Sita. Is it needed?

If they want to be free why can't they first stand for themselves?

And here's where the difference lies between Tara, Mandodari and Sulochana.

Tara is not saying anything or doing anything. She simply stands and stares. She knows this has to end. And with sugreev's first challenge she's pretty sure that its near.

Roma on the other end is weak coz sugreev is. Ram has definitely tried to put some sense in him. If you want to be free, be fearless. If you want to be wild, don't let the surroundings tame you.

And the precap. Am eagerly waiting for sita to put some sense in Mandodari. And if it works out the way am thinking, it will be Sairat 2 for today's episode 😆

Roma is weak because she has allowed Bali's thoughts to tame her mind.

And this is where Sita and Roma are different from each other.

I always stress on thoughts and intentions before actions. Coz you can act aimlessly without thoughts and intentions and find yourself in the same muck but your untamed thoughts and intentions can take you miles and make you stand out.

But being untamed by the surroundings and freedom of thought can give you the toughest path. But if you have the guts to travel it then believe it you are a true "sairat"

The results may not be favorable but when Ram and Sita couldn't escape it why expect a rosy life for yourself? 😉

Cmn to the title.

won't elaborate much. i have already said a lot.

it's undoubtedly "sairat"

Alguj vaaj nabhaat
bhaltach zalaya aaj
algad aali manaat
pahilich tarani hi laaj

(The sky echoes soothingly

beautiful music is getting played slowly in the sky

today something different but beautiful has happened

slowly she entered in the heart

this is the first blush of young love)

aga zananal kalajamandi
an hatamandi haat aal ji
sairat zala ji...
sairat zala ji...
sairat zala ji...

(heart started to beat like drums

your hand came into my hands

{wilderness spread all over

the heart became wild}X2)

aprit ghadlaya sapaan he padlaya

galayamandi sajalaya doral.. doral
saata janmach naat rujalaya kaaljat
tula r devagat pujal
rujala bij pritich sajani rujal
bhijal man pirmana purat bhijal
saral man maarun jagan saral
haral hya pirmala samad haral
kadalal paavasamandi
an abhalal yaat aal ji
sairat zala ji...
sairat zala ji...
sairat zala ji...

(The unthinkable has happened it seems like a dream

Neck is looking beautiful with garlands

The heart has already confirmed the relationship of seven lives

I worshiped you like a god

The seed of love has been sowed deep within

The heart has drenched fully in love

The days of living in suffering, without love and happiness are over

The love has taken away everything

Gave everything to this love

In the rain lightning has struck

And the big sky has opened gave big way to joy and happiness

{wilderness spread all over

the heart has become wild}X3)

This is the title track of sairat. i have skipped some stanzas. you can find the lyrics with translation here

Sairat lyrics

And here is the video of the song.

Do you have the guts to follow your untamed thoughts? even before freedom of expression, do you have the freedom of thought? who would you like to be? Sita, Ram, Roma, Sigreev, Mandodari or Sulochana?

@DD today you became the ambassador of freewill which I always tell one way or the other. Your post can be summed up in one line. If you want to free someone, first free yourself. First have the conviction to express yourself, first have the conviction to stand on your own thoughts. If you are not liberated are in the chains how can you liberate someone else.
