Episodic Analysis (13th and 14th June 2016)

The episodes were really well crafted with suspense keeping us on the hook.. Even if somethings were distorted, I learnt a lot and heard some fa dialogues with impactful performances.

The 13th June episode began with Raavan saying that his plan to change her belief has failed and that now he intends to win Sita by power. What is to be seen is that it is wrong and/or impossible to change the belief of a person who is right if he/she knows and understands that himself or herself. Sita knows she is right, and hence there is no force in the world that can change her thought. And not only she, the nature sound her gives her clues to prove she is. But these subtleties are not understood by Raavan. When he plans to win Sita by power, he tries to prove his masculinity. But the truth is, a true man is the one who knows the limits of himself and sets limits for others at par to his, like Ram, the reason he is called Maryada Purushottam. To win someones heart, power is not needed, love is needed. Unconditional, unfiltered love. Trijata realises what he intents to do is boring, for in the worst situations, humanity of a person is bound to pour up. Then it is ones choice, whether to accept it or not. Trijata did, and she was taken under the shelter of the lord.

Hanuman listens to all of Rams struggles and understands he is the one his life was made for. When we meet a person in life, the way we understand if they are made for us or vice versa is only by seeing if our thoughts, ideas and outlooks match. And this happened in the case of Rama and Hanuman. Hanuman also shows that he being a minister, of royal upbringing and a powerful man, how to remain humble and down to earth with all. He does not show arrogance, and does his duties happily, which should be the main motto of life.

Trijata comes to warn Sita bout Raavans plans. There, she asks her show she knew Rams head was Maya. Truth is, everything in this world is Maya. Maya is Moh, Moh is Maya. She does have any Moh' over Ram, she has Prem.' And though there seems to be a little difference in these, a lot separates these two ideas. Trijata complains of how she sees no Ram and that Sita should learn to protect herself. She does not know that Ram is everywhere, in the animate and inanimate. Here Ram means the greatest soul. Sita tells her to close her eyes and she feels Ram in her. Everyone has a Ram hidden in them. Only a proper guide, and a proper situation is required for them to understand. Point is not how she will protect her self, it is how she will teach others to not harm her.

We saw Trijata seeing Ram in her and awakening leads to her change of heart. This is the greatest realisation one can have. To find the good in the self. She thanks Sita and Sita calls her mother, the purest word in the universe. With her being called Mother, motherly feelings and responsibilities come into her. In a way, all people who live a life for others are mothers.

Sugriva apologises to Ram and tells him about the jewellery he had found. Ram remembers it was Siyas and curses Raavan to always be remembered for bad on earth. But still there are certain temples for Raavan in India, why? Because In Hinduism even a God is guilty, and a villain can also be forgiven. Though Raavans crimes exceeded his good deeds, he was a scholar and a greta king, and it is those ideas that make him worship worthy for some people. Sugriva tells Ram about Bali's strength, but Ram tells him that Adharma leads to a person losing his strength. This is because even if there is one drop of poison in a bucket of pure water, the water becomes toxic. And the same happened with Bali. Ram also tells he eyed a wife of someone else, which is the greatest crime. He also shows prioritisation , telling to kill Bali before Raavan for no bad action should lead to another.

Raavan on the other hand faces the same above. His bad actions are now causing his family and kingdom to fall apart, starting with Shurpi. She reminds Raavan of his deeds wrong, which makes Raavan more enraged instead of understanding. HE doesn't learn from his mistakes. Meghnad plans to slowly kill her, finding that the solution. instead of trying to change her heart. And what Sulo does is also wrong, she is supporting Adharm in a way.

Nicely analyzed Anu. You bought the nice aspect of conscience. See even among adharmi we have people with conscience, who are willing to change ways if they get a proper guide. Sita's greatness was in becoming a guide to someone even while she was trapped

Ravan even with freedom is trapped in his own maze without realization

Hanuman has power but he has also the knowledge to be humble. We have to learn to talk like Hanuman. What Madhur vani.

What I liked the most was Ram's dialogue. Woman is Shakthi. Mistreating her should be punished. Punished at the highest level. People always talk about Sita crossing the rekha and what happened to her. But they forget the punishment Bali and Ravan got for doing the adharma.

Thank you Di. Yes agreed with you completely. What i feel is that people tend to adopt the charecter of a person who is more popular and more powerful, rather than who is more right. And this has continued since a long time. People tend to find the Raavan inside them easier for he is louder. Ram is quiet but silence is his power. People tend to go the easy way and take the Raavan in them, for they feel finding Ram is hard, when in reality it is not. So they always see the wrong in the right. They never see vice versa.

@Anu knowledge always walk silently. Only very few people understand it.
