I hope Sita doesn't have to contradict herself. Because she gave Lakshman today a piece of advice which Lakshman might put into practice when he sees the golden deer, but she will not see. Today Lakshman asked there were no clouds no visible sign of anything abnormal and Sita shows the bird's nest. Telling the birds knew about the flash floods and made their nest on top. Hence their nest is safe, but ours is destroyed.
Today she asks Lakshman to observe nature, observe its hints. And it is true also. If you observe nature you will learn lot of things. Just like Lakshman observing ants to reach rishi mudgal.
Ants teach us hardwork, Dogs loyalty and cat how to fall on four legs from wherever they are thrown. Rather to bounce back.
And believe me a cow will give way to a motor vehicle impulsively, but a human will be talking on mobile phone and succumb to accident.
Reason is we believe we are over and above nature. Yes we are blessed with intelligence. But it is not to taper the nature's laws, but to use nature in such a way for social harmony and betterment of societies.
But man's ego in half knowledge destroys the very nature that provides for him. And we destroy ourselves. Nature always gives warnings to the discerning.
