Bharath was overwhelmed at all the injustices that had been wrought in his name. He breaks down in the presence of Kaushalya, Mandavi, Shatrugan and Guru Vashisht. Often when we find ourselves admist the devastation and chaos of our present life, these four manifestations of Love{Kaushalya, }'Strength{Mandavi}, the final destination{shatrugan}and Knowledge ably supported by wisdom[Guru Vashist} are the means by which we can manage to emerge victorious from our hardships. Also today Kaushalya stood for Ram and Mandavi for Sita, together they manage to offer him absolution for his guilt, which enables him to become receptive to the guidance, for fulfilling his duties. Today again Kaushalya proved to us why God himself had chosen her as his mother. A strong and wonderful lady who rose above her own grief to console her son. The contrast between Kaikeyi and Kaushalya , as mothers and queens were brought out without being preachy.

Manthra faces the reality of her own nightmares. Her laugh was a self-mocking acknowledgement to herself.

Shatrugan by bringing her to the general populace for her judgement broke the barricade between the palace and the city, thus opening the loop of judgement that would embroil Rama and Sita leading to her banishment.

The precap made me alittle uncomfortable.let us see how they play it tomm.

Guys have watched the episode at 11:30. Shatrughnan stole it at every level. Made a seperate post for him.

@Savitha agree to you. Kausalya rose about parochial considerations to show Bharath the path, the need for him to take up responsibility. And what I loved the most was what kausalya tells him that for Ram Ayodhya's betterment was of most important. And if he had gone to vanvass even after that it is because he trusted you, trusted that you will be able to deliver good governance. He himself requested Praja to accept you multiple times. It was a beauty showing the intend of Ram's action which didnt compromise the praja. And this is very important.

Second was Mandavi she was fine with everything Bharat said except her shock when he says I dont deserve to be in Ayodhya. As of now she is quiet, what when Bharat tells he is going alone to Nandigram. Will Mandavi be able to take it as lightly as urmila did it. I mean she wouldnt have any problem he relinquishing the throne or even going to Nandigram. But the problem will be when he asks her to stay in palace and support mothers and be in charge of the ladies of the palace. Mandavi can feel sad that her Sita didi could go with jijashree but not her. Remember the decision of Bharat Mandavi wedding. Her problem was Sita got the swayamvar, but no one asked her. Same will be with that Nandigram decision is my take.

@DD yes Ram knows it and that inner peace he gets when the Mahrishi says if the last rites of any human being is happening at that time that person will get Moksha. I also liked what Mahrishi Bharadwaj says when someone passes away we feel sad, but if wee listen to the vedas recited correctly we will understand the peace that soul is getting and we too will feel peaceful. It kind of told the mantras recited during the rites happening after the death of a person. Those mantras are give peace to the soul as well as the people in the family.

Absolutely agree that the Shatrughan was the show stealer yesterday with that fierce action that he takes on Manthara ! He shocked everyone including kAikeyi with his determination to carry on his resolve of punishing the root cause of the present misery at Ayodhya !

That was interesting to watch that side of Shatrughan who otherwise remains calm and controlled.

Bharath - Kausalya bond was just too good ! As always Kausalya did prove her supreme stAtus which in the normal course of things never get highlighted . The way. She says as to " why do you have to reiterate ? " with regard to his ignorance in the whole episode of this mishap ! Was a very beautiful line !

They always shared a simple and beautiful bond ( which earlier too was highlighted when Kausalya convinces Bharat to go to kEkaya to get better trained with his uncle etc ).

Mandavi was just perfect in her support and care that she expressed to Barath .

The actors were all at their best !

The explanation of Bharadwaja Rishi wrt the careful listening of the Veda recitals that brings peace to the souls that depart and also to those to who grieve for those departed were interesting highlights.

Guys just remembered to put another contrast SKR has bought. We have always compared Ram and Ravan.

But I feel a comparison is needed between Ravan and Bharath also. Because though at a larger level it is comparison of Ram and Ravan as a son, brother we should compare Ravan to Bharath.

Look at Kaikasi whose Mahatwakamsha was to see her son win the 3 worlds. And Ravan he listens to that Mahatwakamsha, destroys quite a lot and becomes the king only to lose his brother to the other party and also complete destruction of Lanka.

And Bharath by refusing to listen to the Mahatwakamsha of Kaikeyi, by refusing to take what is not rightfully his, by refusing to snatch power, gains respect of not only family or Ayodhya but stands as a tall example of adherance to dharma just like Ram.

Yes son has to obey his mother, but difference between Ravan and Bharath shows what happens when wrong orders, mother's power struggle are obeyed by sons.

@ Shruthi this is the first time I actually understood the reason why sudarshana chakra n conch took human incarnations as Rams brothers. Before he left to cleanse the world of Adharma, he left the cleansing of Ayodhya in the capable hands of his most destructive weapon and the one who is blown at the start and the end of the war. So once the Ram rajya is formed the conch is sent from Ayodhya until the end.
I am really feeling for Mandavi now. We sing the sacrifices made by Sita and to some extend even Urmila though not in VR atleast in contemporary works Urmila is given some justice and her sacrifices are acknowledged. But Mandavi - she stayed in the palace which was forsaken by her husband taking care of the elders, her sisters acting as representative of the queen suffering for the greed of power of her MIL the power which she never wanted in the first place and through it all never acknowledged. Even Bharath got the glory for his deeds for his practice of dharm but went unquestioned against the injustice done by him to Mandavi which was overshadowed by Ram's injustice to Sita.
Loved the comparison b/w Bharath n Ravan. Power sits well with people who never crave for it.
@ Savitha loved the 4 manifestations of love and also loop opening of judgement by the people. Was missing DD's and Shruthi's posts on symbolism n loops n yr post more than made up for it.

@Geena that is why in the beginning itself we put the 4 pillar theory. Look the cleansing starts from Shatrughna the conch, the war has begun against adharma. And yes chakra, Ram wanted chakra in his power and that was the reason he took vanvass. I guess I put this in some post of mine. See the symbolisms we analyzed are now coming true. Even some of the dialogues I expected to hear are coming true.

@savitha my mom was telling what Bharath does with Kaikeyi is not just what was shown in thursday episode. it is much more. he really really berates her. So I guess precap is not out of place.

One more thing we need to note here. Except Ram all the other 3 brothers show base human nature. Whether it is Lakshman in his emotional state pushing Urmila, Shatrughna who drags Manthara or Bharath who berates and abuse Kaikeyi shows how a human behaves when he or she feels injustice happened to them.

Imagine if Ram had taken power. Blood would have been shed in Ayodhya with Ram and Lakshman in one side and Bharat-Shatrughna in other. Ram rising above the parochial considerations ensures anger is directed towards benefit of the society. He shows the path.

Because if you see if brothers fight only 3rd party will benefit. That's what happens with Bali- Sugreeva and again Ravan-Vibishan.

Again that is what happens in Mahabharatha. Leave cousin brothers. What would have been Arjun's state of mind when he knows Karna is his brother. Kunti saved her reputation. She did the mistake. Her one son suffered his life being called a lower caste irrespective of his talent and her other son lived the life guilty of killing his brother. Once again kids paid the price of mother's mistake.

Guys before making individual post today I wanted to make the post here today. Reason I got a beautiful parallel. Today a son out casted his mother telling because of her whole Ayodhya was plunged into darkness. She was the one responsible for her husband's death, she is the one who has sent her favorite son to vanvass.

Tomorrow 2 sons are going to question the society why their mother was outcasted. What did she do. An epitome of virtue who followed her husband to forest, who suffered in the hands of Ravan but didnt fall for his opulence, who gave Agnipareeksha why did the society outcast her.

It once again shows Vishnu's maya. he wants the questions to come from the right people. When Luv Kush sing Ramayana during Aswamedh they doesnt know who they are. The boys question the collective conscience of a society.

And look at Kaikeyi today. Alone. Battered. Banished by her own son. Jabali said the truth. Rajmatha. She wanted that and she became a commoner.

And imagine Sita in that situation. For not fault of hers forced to hear such comments. Ram prevented that. In the darkness of night he sends her to a place where she will be comfortable. Today it was highlighted more. She is Bhumija. She understands nature. Its ways. Ram telling now he is at peace of bringing her to vanvass hints to that decision that he knows she can survive with nature.

@DD you were right. Suguni is Kaikeyi. It is going to be Kausalya who finally gonna take things into hand and allows Kaikeyi to walk the path of forgiveness. Though today Kausalya couldnt stop Bharath, somehow I feel finally she will achieve it with the help of Sumitra.

And another thing I liked was Kaikeyi coming and taunting Sumitra look what your son is doing. And her son does exactly that. Classic example of mothers who find fault with others children always👏👏👏

Missed the first 10 minutes...

I so wish the torture of submissions gets over fast...

Prayers to the banyan tree- banyan tree is symbolic of permanence..

And just see what sita wished... ⭐️ permanence of their "prem" wow!!!! This is deep and to the end...

Ram looking at her.. This guy knows everything... Hayyee... 😳

I lover the chitrakut scene... Loop has opened.. Lakshman is alert.. Sita in her own world of "bhumija" baby its going to hit you hard... I have a lot to say on this but I'll wait for the actual abduction and swarna mrig episode.. Lot of connectivity.. Let the whole thing be together in a post...

An interesting equation that I have got on this.. With sita ram will understand prakriti and with ram sita will understand sanskriti.. If vanvas is the journey from sanskriti to prakriti then the return to ayodhya and sita's banishment will be prakriti to sanskriti.. Once again the equation will change as luv kush will recite Ramayana to ram... This is where he'll counter question his "nyaya" and will accept prakriti's nyaya as sita goes inside the earth...

But again I'll elaborate everything once we reach the abduction phase... Many scenes that I have jotted down till now 😆 it will be better to reserve them till then.. Am actually amazed at the connectivity... Its awesome... The track had started long back... Much much before but today we get an addition of "lakshman".

SiRa stood together and lakshman was out... Lakshman's concern is more or less like the lakshman rekha that we'll get in the future... Plus sita's words to him are like her crossing the lakshman rekha... Shaaa... I felt like whistling... Spot on it was...

Kaikeyi thrown out... 👏 will talk on jabali later...

But the walk...the walk... *whoot whoot*

It was like a reverse screenplay...

There was a day when kaikeyi sleepwalked from the cliff to the palace not noticing anyone around... Today its exact ulta.. She walks from the palace looking at every face... Every person.. Wow!!! And the acceptance that what she did was wrong...

Whatta contrast 👏 walk of sleep Vs walk of realization...

I love Grusha yaar 😳 infact I got a chance to watch the making video and her interview on hotstar... And I was so right.. She understands this character so right... The depth... ⭐️ its always a treat to see behind the scenes as it gives a sneak peak of what makes the actor emote so well... I wish she gets an award for kaikeyi... The complexity... I can go on and on... 😆

Jabali's words of sarcasm,pity, satire and what not am out of adjectives... 😆

Yday as manthara was out... Kaikeyi's negativity was also out... What was lacking was realization of the same..

And today jabali and bharat made her realize...
