Dahleez was supposed to be saas-bahu in the court. Promo was clear on that. And well it will end in Jul devoid of what its TRP is. Because it had real location shooting, so they cant go on and on with such a thing. And to be frank I am enjoying it.

And SKR I don't know whether you guys noticed it but Fortune Basmati Rice is no longer the title sponsor. Only Kesh King is. It does not augur good. That much I know

Even am enjoying dahleez. It is finite but they might put a full stop before the deadline. Cz trp only 0.2. And SP twists things for trps.. Best one in their list was BD. Even BD was supposed to be finite..

Am bold over by the dialogues in dahleez right now. Didn't watch much but whatever I have its wow... Will catch it on hotstar later..

I don't think they'll ditch us. The amount they have put is huge.. So fingers crossed.. One question, have they shifted to Mumbai from vanvas? Or its Hyderabad?

I felt that Surpanakha today resembled the average human. We always hang on to a certain thing and just don't let go. We are stubborn and unrelenting, and just want to get that object, by hook or crook. Like whenever I was a kid, I wanted to get a certain toy and kept on requesting them to buy it. When I got it, I played with it for a few weeks and then asked for another one. This highlights the fact that lust is ceases after a time period, but love is never ending. But I have one question, if Surpanakha lusted for Ram, why did Ram in his next birth, Krishna, give her a son in her next birth, Sundari?

I was also not liking the way Sita nd Lakshman relationship was shaping, but now I can see a considerable growth in their equation, and i am loving it now...

@Shruthi di, loved your post on how Ram and Ravan both were born as a consequence of a woman crossing the line of Maryada and how woman's crossing her line brings about a change, Now Devi Lakshmi will be exactly doing the same thing, by crossing Lashman rekha...

About TRPs, as Jahnavi said we can just hope for the best.. Its IPL time now, 8pm shows are effected the most as the match just starts at that time.. During WC IMHO they aired the best episodes and tracks... KK's kope bhavan track, Dashrat death, Bharat milap... But what did they get? A mere 1.9-2.0 trp...

Yes the actors got a lot of appreciation, not only here but in other Social networking sites too (I think this much appreciation he didn't even get during Swayamvar track which got the highest trp for skr), but what about the makers, all their hardwork got wasted

What I feel that they did have plans of showing Sita haran right after the 10 years leap, (that's why got so many SiRa hugs b4 that 😆😆 ).. But I guess the new writer suggested them not to show imp track during IPL.. So now they are dragging... Just hope after IPL they are back with a bang and TRPs are also back, fingers crossed...

@Jahnavi another thing, don't talk much about other shows,

Ur thread may get few unwanted visitors 😆😆

U may say like the 10:30 pm show or the 7 pm show, to be on safe side 😉😆

They did go to Mumbai to shoot few episodes but then they had to come back to HB due to some technical issues ...

A good episode. Ram tries to convince Shoorpanaka that he is not interested in her, but is unable to penetrate her obsessiveness. He strongly reiterates that he loves his wife and he can't even think about someone else taking her place. When she says that she would help him in the fight against her own brother, He rejects her help...at this stage he is not consciously waging a war against Ravan, but he is focused only on freeing the common people as well as the Rishis from Ravan's minions. This loop that was opened by a sister is closed with a brother offering his help in the battle against Ravan and Ram accepting it whole heartedly. The difference is again in the intentions of both; Shoorpanaka offers it as an inducement to accept her love{?}while there is a surrender in Vibhishan's action. Isn't that what all the scriptures say that God will embrace you if you surrender and may ignore you if you offer him any kind of inducement? The introspection of Shoorpanaka gives her a new direction and she leaves to observe Sita.This is where she is setting herself for a fall again,She is determined to emulate Sita,so that Ram falls in love with her,but she is not even striving to imbibe the qualities of Sita...that would have given her the ability to understand the righteous path.The monologue in which says that Sita is the person who could connect her with Ram is such a profound statement ,isn't it?Here the same principle like with the lotus is highlighted,Sita could have indeed connected her to God if her mind and intention had been pure.

She hears Sita's words without grasping their substance.Sita talks about sacrifice and surrender being the qualities needed in a successful relationship,but Surpi with her superficial nature is not able to understand its essence.Here she hides from Sita that results in her being a medium for the devastation of Lanka and in the future her brother Ravan would also hide his true form from Sita and in the prcess invites his own destruction.

One more thing I found poignant is Ram 's restlessness at Sita's absence and his words that 'sankalp'should not be broken is so prophetic,isn't it?

Ram and Sita are perhaps enjoying the last few days of being together,since first Ravan and then Ayodhya manages to separate them...
