Hello CVs. First of all a big big thank you to you for creating such a magical intimate moment between Sira. To say the least it was a beauty. Doing romance with mytho characters is a tough task especially Sira. But today you did it very very delicately. Every moment was beauty and that side hug 😳😳😳 uff I was drooling away. It showed their passion, their intimacy and of course their unbounded love for each other.
And the conversation how natural it was for hus-wife. When they got their alone time talking about the beautiful moments of their past, their feelings for each other before they became hus -wife. The flow was as if they didnt want to hide anything. There was no blush, no unnecessary hesitation what all rubbish we get in daily soaps. Also another great thing they were talking about themselves not about the parivaar and the larger Ayodhya. Hope the daily soap makers see something from it and give realistic dialogues to leads who are always running after one problem or other of the family members and rarely talks about themselves. I have always felt that to be quite unnatural.

Ok now coming to the point. Ram told the most beautiful dialogue today. Yes after becoming the king rajdharma will be of utmost importance to him. But in his heart she will be always loved and respected. In a way Ram was telling that rajdharma can force many harsh decisions from him. But he can be successful only if she understands him. As a husband he may not ask her things, but as a king he will be forced to ask her many things.
It will be painful for him to ask her such things, but she might have to bear them for the sake of his rajadharma understanding his heart always belong to her. That's why he stressed on the vachan that a husband is giving to wife that he will have only one wife and that is Sita.

If there is one vachan Ram has sticked to completely that is this vachan he gave to Sita. There wont be another woman in his life whatever be the reason. And there never was. He found his own way to circumvent tradition by having golden statue of Sita. And he remained Sitaram loving and respecting her always in his heart. Society took her away from him physically but society couldnt take Sita from Ram's heart. Her name was etched so much with him that he is still called Sitaram even after centuries .

Beautiful post Shruthi. Haven't watched the episode yet.Was waiting for your's and DD's posts.
Yesterday guru Vasisht said of Sita's duel role or her duty. Ram poured out everything in his heart to her.
This will be her only refuge once Ram will be forced to take those harsh decisions. Ram's only hope would have been that she will understand him.
It is a privilege to see Ram through Sita's eyes. Who better to absolve him for what he did to her than his better half.

Yes Geena. That is the beauty of our epics. In that the protoganists dont run away from problems. They face them head on and none of our stories paint a rosy picture. They show us life for what it is with all its grey shades.
And that is why I always they should never be kept on pedestal. They should be opened and read.

Well written Shruthi😊
Shri Ram not just kept his word to Sita but showed the gossip mongers that while he may be physically away from Sita, she was always with him and was part of everything he did.
While Ram the king served his people with kindness, Ram the husband kept his word to protect his wife. He understood the reality and inspite of the personAL pain, both his and hers, he protected Sita from every bad word. He made himself her shield while she was his strength.

I am glad that we had this scene today. It was beautifully done and portrayed to perfection.

Their relationship just grew from strength to strength and I hope that we get to see that too.

@bheegi watch it. one of the best epi of SKR. Not because of the romance, but the way the depth of Siya-Ram relation was portrayed.

What a beautiful post Shruthi di, for this wonderful episode...
It was romantic yet indepth... Ram's words about how being a king may force him to take harsh decisions but Sita will dwell inside his heart was so heart wrenching !
Does that give us hint about the future track ? After the episode I am eagerly awaiting the way CVs handle Sita's exile track ...

Very well portrayed scene of Sira. Very romantic yet very simple and neat. Ram and Sita knew That their life is going to take a new turn their open conversation is awesome and what ram said is indicative of their future life..
Hope cvs show such scenes more. 😊

Fab post Shruthi..u wrote it all..
I gulped the scene and it's my greed to see it again and again.

A beautiful scene between a husband and a wife and kudos to CVs for perfect execution.

As u said, it was the only vachan that he kept throughout his life that he gave to Sita, and undoubtedly the reason being that vachan was given by a husband to a wife. Keeping it or breaking it was at the sole discretion of husband Ram. Having a single wife was his sole decision, and it could not be affected by Rajdharma and his responsibilities towards the kingdom.

@aditi yes we need to see how CVs handle uttarakand, but yesterday laid the foundation for it
@bday girl yes it was a beautiful scene

@attubaby rajdharma demanded him to do yagas and all. For that he needed wife. He found a workaround to keep his vachan to Sita than break it in the name of tradition or rajdharma. He gave only the right vachan as a husband which he knew he can stick to even while performing rajdharma. That's differentiates Ram and Dasrath. Dasrath gave vachans and promises without thinking and suffered for the same. Ram gave well thought out promises and stayed true to it.
