Well one thing is far clear, when fate plays it's part, even GODS are not spared..
Since King Dasrath was cursed by Shravan's parents that he too will have to bear the pain of being away from his son like them (since mistakenly Dasrath had shot arrow on Shravan), Lord Ram also had to go thru the ordeal of Vanvas, keeping him away from his father for 14 long years and eventually he died without having a last look at his beloved son RAM..
Though it may all be planned and Gods may be aware, Queen Kaikeyi became evil under the spell of Mantara, thereby giving way to the vanvas track.. She was the chosen one to get his happening, though I found her a very nice soul who loved Ram more than her own son..
We HUMANS keep cribbing about ur problems, but when Gods go thru this why not WE..
A good lesson learnt..
