Today there were many dialogues, many symbolisms in such a way that I was really getting confused what to take. Is it Urmila's today is the real test for us, or Kaikeyi's ashirvad that let Ram usher in a new era in Raghukul or the symbolism of the way the 3 girls were working for the coronation. Mein tho confuse pe confuse hoti jaati thi.
Finally Mahadev solved my problem. Kehtai hai he destroys all bad things and he destroyed my confusion with his beautiful dialogue highlighting the importance of time.
Yes time something which we cannot get back once we lose it. Not even a second is retrievable. Still how many value the time. The moment we are in. We always have either past to worry about. Why this happened to me, why that happened to me. Or future to think about . How will people see me, will I pass, will i get car, house, promotion, life partner, kids. Our life is full of questions but never the valid ones. How many ask " What I can do now to get a car" that " I" part or the action to be taken in present is so much missed.
How many analyze the past to understand where we made the mistakes. It is always the victim philosophy. Our society itself encourages victim philosophy. Poor are victims. criminals are victims. Any unfortunate circumstance they are all victims. But all victim hood happens because of our own actions, our own judgement. If we learn we can atleast not repeat those mistakes.
When I was preparing for CAT we used to have mock tests. My instructor used to tell me yes you finish the exam in 3 hrs, but spend atleast 8-9 hrs to to analyze your mistakes, analyze why you couldnt answer certain questions. It was for us to understand our mistakes and not to repeat them.
When I did CAT in 2002 , the reason I lost was my own folly. Folly of under estimating myself. Between logic and data intrepretation logic was my strength, data interpretation my weakness . So without even checking what was in data interpretation I went for logic in section 3. Logic was damn tough, it was only in last 10 mins I checked data intrepretation. It was damn simple. But then I knew it was late , very very late. But it taught me to look at things holistically before taking decisions.
So if you understand time, if you learn from mistakes, take actions in present, your answers will come in future at the right time.
