Making a quick post on yesterday epi. People will remember I had made a post where I had mentioned Purusharth follows Ram and Ravan tries to snatch Purusharth based on Ravan raping Rambha and Sita following Ram on mountain top.
Yesterday was something similar. Ravan goes after power. He wants to snatch power of Swarg. If Brihaspati had not come Ravan would not have even fought with Indra and would have taken the throne.
In his quest for power he terrorizes everyone.

Now on the other hand. Ram uses love. Ram uses respect. Power is bowing in front of him. It is coming to him. Not only Dasrath, the entire rishis, ministers everyone is happy Ram is going to get power. His immense love, empathy and fairness makes people happy when Shakti is coming to him.

Who is the winner the one to whom Shakti bows and the one who bows to Shakti, or the one who thinks he can keep Shakti with him by terrorizing and disrespecting it.

I love the CVs for such scenes where they bring such sharp contrast between Ram and Ravan.

ram is looking for the confirmation of everyone, while raavan is chasing indra to fight him and defeat him so he can sit on indra's throne.

Never saw the episode from this mindset... Now need to rewatch.. So this is why Ravan track is being kept in parallel, to show the difference between Ram and Ravan...
Yes you said it right, Ravan is hunting for Indra to snatch his power and position, on the other hand Ram is accepting it with due respect... SKR has given us the scenes of both Ram and Ravan, now it depends on us what to choose,we want to be Ram or be Ravan... Being Ram doesn't mean become the 7 avtar of Vishnu, being Ravan doesn't mean to become a Rakshas ... Follow the right path u automatically become Ram , follow the path of terror, u become Ravan...
In tetra yug there was just one Ravan , but here in kaliyug u can find many Ravans... But when we try to find Ram, we will not find him outside but he dwells in our hearts... As we remove our inner demons, we can see Ram within us..

Shruthi ,the world is a play of contrasts ,isn't it? They exist together but are at different levels in the spectrum of life. We encounter both good and bad things and people at various moments of our lives. If the throne is the symbol of our seat of power, then how we get to it, is as important as what we do once we sit on it. For Ram it was a responsibility ,but it had to be reached with everyone's good wishes. Every one considered his eligibility and only then supported Dashrath's decision to transfer the power to him.
Ravan on the other hand seized the throne, for him it was a means of feeding his ego and a show of his power.
Both of them had to be shown simultaneously to ensure that we realize the nature of good and evil and its shades.Like you Iam loving these parallel tracks.

sorry i was not active in recent days i missed many of ur posts
awesome post👏👏
Ram and Ravan are equally talented and educated in all shastras, I must say Ravan is even more powerful he was named as Ravana Brahma
u highted the difference in the natures of Ram and Ravan perfectly👏👏

this a famous dialouge from a telugu movie
ekkada neggalo kaadu ekkada taggalo telisinodu goppodu
it means
He who always wants to win by hook or crook is not the great one but he who knows where to behave
courteously keeping aside one's ego is a great person
