In the past few episodes, Sita gave reasons for loving Ram and Ram in his letter to Kaikeyi gave reasons for his love and admiration for Sita. Raavan and Mandodari have a very different relationship, he married her by force and she herself disapproves Raavan's behavior, his crimes and cruelty. Mandodari shows feelings of fear and distrust towards Raavan, then how can she have feelings of selfless love towards hin?How can she love and protect someone whom she doesn't even respect? The only flicker of respect that Raavan has shown for Mandodari was when he distinguished her above all his other wives at Sita's swayamvar. What reasons does Mandodari, who is one of the revered women in Indian mythology, have to be pati vrata and selflessly love her husband?
