Others before Self- Sumitra

Do I need to tell anyone that I adore Sumitra. Even before SKR I had loved her. And today my admiration for this lady grew. You will ask me why.

@charvi Hari needed Sumitra. Because rarely do we get people like her. Always service minded. never demanding anything. She was happy in her space. Very much content and she passed on the happiness to everyone

I would also like to give a nod to Kaushalya. Although Kaushalya is shown as though she's least liked Rani in this show, she was the Maharani of Ayodhya. She was sweet natured, pious and devoted to Dashrath. She knew her duties, tradition, culture, position, ideals - the qualities she taught Ram.

Interesting trivia: She was Shatrupa in previous birth, Manu's wife. Both were devotees of Lord Narayan. They prayed, long and hard to the Almighty Narayan and asked for a son as virtuous and mighty as the Lord himself. The good Lord blessed the couple with a boon that he would be born as their son in their next birth. Manu and Shatrupa were reincarnated as Dashrath and Kaushalya.

hmm, sumitra is good woman. as for the trp, this show won't go with the trp fight.

Because if you see her 2 DILs are going to take the burden of Ayodhya, one to keep the family togther and other in the service of the praja. In fact both of them are expected to keep others above self.

And who will show them the path. Their MIL. Sumitra who walked herself to understand her DILs. Respected the 2 women who has come to her family as her son's brides. Understood they have left their families and will be uncomfortable in the new surrounding.

They will not ask anything and they will adapt to their new surrounding. But still this lady went all the way not only to make the food her DILs like, but understanding Urmila doesnt like silk sheets make bed like that for her appropriately. Kirti feeling cold more so proper arrangements for her.

And if you see her DILs feel the genuine warmth of love in their MIL. In their new home she becomes their support system.

And any good DIL, will try to understand the needs of her new family and behave accordingly, because they feel loved and respected.

And yes when the time comes they will walk the hard path also, because their MIL will stand by them as the strong pillar of support.

Once again Sumitra proved actions speak louder than words. She is a real Karma yogi dedicated to swadharma in every relation.

she is the only one of the three who can turn into a mother from a MIL. i love her too so unselfish..
