Shatrughan Var Pooja done by Shatanand

I loved all the rituals today.
My only objection was why Shatanand washed Shatrughan's feet when it was Shutkirti's fathers right to do so.

The CV'S could have shown Var Pujar ritual in same manner as Kanyadaan, first Sita nd Mandvi next Urmila nd Shutkirti.

What say frndz? Isn't it unfair for Shatrughan nd Shutkirti.

Could be due to Muhurtha time being limited and all rituals have to be completed- it is often fine, if a respected member of the girl's family does one ritual- here washing the feet ( taking the Var as Vishnu samaan) which could be done by Shatanand- whereas kanyadaan can only be done by either parents or the immediate relatives. Sadly, though there was barely a glimpse of Shatrugna and his bride

Ohk...Thanks for the insight...it perfectly answers the question..

Yeah..S-S were barely visible..oh...just one to two glimpses of Shrutkirti..Shatrughan was not even visible in d rituals

Bharat's var pooja could have been done along with Ram. Why all the three var pooja had to be done at one time?
If Bharat nd Ram's var pooja would have been done simultaneously, Mandvi's parents could have done Shatrughan's var pooja along with Lakshman.

I guess it was a blooper.
