Actually it was quite symbolic. I mean Ram and Sita the main purpose of their avatar was to show a path of dharma to the world at the same time end the reign of many asuras the most prominent being Ravan.

I believe Shiv exists in every man and Shakti exists in every woman as abstract. Yes we view them as Narayan and Lakshmi in the sustenance form, but they also come to destroy adharma.

Now see the way Shiv came to Ram. As a dove. Just like a part of nature. And people in the ashram said nature wants to participate in Ram's wedding. If you see nature is the biggest player in ensuring Ram meets the purpose of his avatar. From the time of Sita Apaharan it is the nature that is helping Ram to reach her. Not humans. From Jatayu, to the vanaras under Sugreeva, the able Hanuman, sampathi, the ocean and the other forces of nature bless Ram in his journey and success. The might of Lanka is not actually bowing down to Ram and Lakshman, but to the power of nature of Prakriti who is standing with Ram. And today Shiv came as the representative of that nature with the whole sky under his wings to provide that nature's support for Ram's purpose. One of the key message is that if you want success in any endeavour respect nature, understand nature and nature will always be with you.

Now coming to Sita where Maa Parvati come as Nava Durga. Nava Durga encompasses the complete feminine energy from the satvik Gowri to destructive Kali. It is the nine forms of the Goddess or in a way you can say nine ways in which power is used or Maya is created for the betterment of family and society. Parvati came to give Sita this complete power, the power which every woman should be aware of and should be using it according to the situation post marriage. From the loving wife, mother, bahu and bhabi, able queen, managing relations, managing wealth, protector the family and in the fierce form a medium to destroy the evil. She blessed Sita with all her powers for the strength she needed for her married life as well as for completing the purpose of her avatar.

It was very beautiful and symbolic especially the way they showed Nava Durga. It felt so divine when Sita was getting blessed thus.

Even in our life for a woman most of the auspicious things for marriage are done by woman. We need to see in their blessings the blessings of Nava Durga. The Shakti or power they are transferring to us through their wisdom for us to start our life on a better note.

Well written.
Something I would like to add - Shiv and Shakti don't exist in every man and woman respectively. Shiv and Shakti coexist in every person. Shiv the masculine energy and Shakti the feminine energy, the balance of two in a person is the key to harmony and growth of the individual.

Yes Manasa. But that one is supposed to be told by groom and Mangalsutra is that trust a man places on the woman that she is capable of protecting him.
And that mantra made immortal by AR Rahman in his Alaipayuthe song Ennenum Punnakke( Always smiling)

My pleasure šŸ˜›

Yes they coexist because eventually Shiv and Shaki are one. In one exists the other and vice versa and together they form the divine energy

One of the best epi of SKR. šŸ‘
What an epi. It was like milan of DKDM & SKR. Shivji's bg, Karpur gauram, Shiv Shiv chant. Heard it after a long time.
Shakti form of Parvati had a perfect feel.
Sita & Ram's expressions, feelings when they met Paravti & Shivji were owesome.
