@savitha I am waiting for Ram next play of words where he cuts through another Pradha of Ayodhya 😆 in his own sweet way. By that I mean create the illusion of not breaking any law, but break the physical law keeping the core intact.
@DD yes we are made of 5 elements. But we don't recognize it. And Sita. Let me tell you she has her own way of putting forth points without offending anyone or breaking any rules.

I don't know but the whole uttarkaand makes me cry...😭
Rama's sacrifice of sita... It was the people who were responsible, definitely... But again I feel it was more of an injustice towards sita... Just a bit partial u c...

But again I also support that rama even suffered through this separation... But again I weep more at sita's tragic end... The way she went only to get her children their rights is heart wrenching...

I guess I love Ramayana for this thing only... Am not tired to watch it anytime...

@Shruthi: The importance of the words depends on who utters it. So basically its from Sita's mamaji and CV's already showed who they are. Here my take on this is different. Yes, for me its not with their status but with their mindset.

Ayodhya ki mitti bhi sona --- the purity in their land. The gold is rigid, so do the customs/traditions in ayodhya. When we say nation matches forward it means the people, so it can be like people are like gold. Gold is a metal which can be used with any element and still retains its property. So ayodhya people will welcome Sita and mingle with the mithila people and retains their originality.

Mithila ka sona bhi mitti ---- People give much more importance to bhoomi which protects the life of living being. King Janak even made plough with gold because for him earth is so divine and its pure. That is why Janak got Sita from bhoomi.

So for me, inner description for both ayodhya and mithila remains the same though the external words seems to be sarcastic by the mamaji😉

@Ramya pure gold is malleable can be made into any shape. Not at all rigid. It is the gold mixed with copper for making ornaments that is rigid. So even with the properties of the metal the gold of Ayodhya is illusion because rigidity comes only by mixing gold with other metal. Whereas the girls of Mithila still represents the pure gold. Adaptable. They will mix with the culture of Ayodhya, take out the copper from it with the support of the princes and make it the ideal place. Ram Rajya

@Shruthi: Oh, yes. Good catch. So ayodhya people are gold with impurities present which makes them rigid whereas mithila is pure gold and hence soft and adjustable. Makes sense.

@ Shruthi : As Usual great post coupled with adorable discussions 👍🏼
The Example of Gold & Sand was beautifully put forth by SKR writers 👏 Also how they showed the contrast by Making Raja Dashrath to appreciate Mithilla's nature conveyed , though he followed the pratha's of Ayodhya blindly wen he is made to see through the true sense like in case of Ashwamedha parivarthan , he is willing to change !! That's wat makes him a great emperor and it also applies to present society 😳

No One is perfect in everything , it's the willingness to adapt and follow the right path by knowing the true sense of it . Thus the milan of LakshmiNarayan served a greater purpose after destroying of Raavan , Establishment of RamRajya - where the king didn't back from following the rules even wen it came down to breaking of his own family life 😊 Thus Ramayana & Mahabharat as a Epic , has all the answers to the questions of Life and we can see it , considered we r eager to learn from them 😳
