Star Plus will be launching new fiction Dahleez' in late February to fill a vacant slot in its schedule.
In India, the show will telecast in the 22:30 slot where the channel airs the repeat of Siya Ke Ram'. In the UK, Dahleez' will take the 22:00 slot where the channel here broadcasts the repeat telecast of Saathiya'.
As revealed on BizAsia earlier this week, Dahleez', produced by Fortune Productions in joint association with Colosceum Media, stars Meghna Malik, Harshad Arora, Tridha Chaudhury, Amit Behl, Aaryan Pandit and Hunar Halle. The show has been described as a high-end courtroom fiction based in Delhi.
Dahleez' begins on Monday 22nd February on Star Plus.

Now that is totally unfair! Why are they taking SKR spot, go take somebody elses like SNS which should be off by now anyways!

Oh so many including me will be missing Siya ke Ram...then the option remais of hotstar where the episode is uploaded much late many a times the next day.

It was expected. 10:30 is a prime time slot now, though it was a comfortable slot for watching especially when I am travelling.

But the new show promo looks promising😃

@Ramya that show was waiting on the wings for quite some time. I guess the makers might have asked for 10:30 pm slot for the theme the show has. Because from the promo I am attracted to it. So many working people and those for whom early evening slots are not comfortable might be able to watch at this slot. This is one of the slots where the show can survive with 1-1.5 TRP and the theme of the show looks like no TRP aunty is gonna go near it.

Other option would be 5, but I guess that will be too early. All other slots have SBS

@Shruthi: Thanks for the info. I dont know abt the new show (not seen the promo) but is it really that much good shows running in SP? I wonder, trp is not proving so.

Pardon me as my knowledge in tv serials is very limited.

@Ramya not many good shows that you or me can relate to are running in TV. But evening slots have high TRP shows all of which none of us will go near. SP had launched some really good shows in 2014-15 which includes Ek Hasina Thi, Dosti Yaariyaan Manmarziyaan, Tere Shehar main, Everest , Sumit Sambhal Lega and Badthameez Dil.

But thanks to TRP aunties irrespective of good popularity online these shows were not blessed by TRP aunties. EHT supposed to be a 1 year show ended in 8 months though it ended with topping the slot at 8pm. DYM was stopped in 4 months. TSM as far as I know butchered for TRPs, but still didn't get TRP and it ended and was replaced by SKR. Everest and SSL were thankfully short finite series of 4 months and they ended as planned. BD they tried butchering, but thankfully due to online popularity was made a web series and it ended gracefully in 6 months.

This new show is also finite series and not the typical one. So any early slot TRP aunty will murder it. 10:30 is the only slot I see where it can survive atleast a bit with content starved viewers.

Problem is PH and channels are trying, but then audience don't want to change. What to do. Good content is always rejected on the number game. 😃

@Shruthi: oh this much things in serials. Thanks for the info. I watched a show after MB in SP. I left it way back, really unbearable. I dont want to mention abt it here. Anyways, my opinion which i stated in that previous forum also, why cant we say trp viewers instead of trp aunties? I know many retired uncles who always hold the tv remote.
