It was shown that Vishwamitra brought both the rajkumars for taking the darshan of auspicious Shiv Dhanusha! The same bow which was kept in Sita Swayamwar. Among the invities, Janak had also invited the prince from Ayodhya. Due to the absence of Ram, Dashrath had declined the invitation. Eventually Ram and Lakshman land in Mithila for the Shiv Dhanushya.
They are not seen participating in the swayamvar but Guru Vishwamitra knows the devine arrangement he being the medium to bring Lord Vishnu and Devi Lakshmi together. Now my question is how does Ram participate in the Swayamwar?
In todays episode it is shown that situation is not under control and there is havoc. Vishwamitra enters with the two princes and orders Ram to free Janak from this odd situation indirectly he talls him to participate in the swayamwar. What does the epic say? Can anyone throw light on this situation.

All you have to do is wait for today's episode 😛
Jokes apart, I think Ram will lift the bow and string it just to show other Kings - there is a person who can lift the bow and string it too!
As per the condition of swayamwar, Sita will marry the person who lifts the bow and strings it.. Ram will win Sita in this way!

Vishwamitra brings the princes to see Shiv Dhanush. But knowing it is Swayamvar Vishwamitra asks Ram to participate in it. Ram is said to have participated in the swayamvar based on the instruction of Vishwamitra is what I understand from the basic version. Basic version I have read about doesn't talk about invitation to Ayodhya for Swayamvar. It only tells King Dasrath gets the news that Ram has won the hand of Princess Sita by stringing the bow. And Raja Janak is expecting him to give permission as well as grace the occasion of Ram and Sita's wedding.

In Ramayana, there was no Swayamwar. But When Swayamwar happened (Ram didn't participate in That Swayamwar),Many kings failed to Accomplish the Swayamwar. Then They initiated War against Mithila. With help of Devas Janak overcame them. Then he made a Yaga,Vishwamitra invited for. Then Vishwamitra and Janak gave Ram Permission to test The bow. while testing, bow was broken. Thus Janak Addressed Ayodhya for proposal of Sita marriage. Then 4 brothers married 4 sisters.
