Abhi to Raavan aaya nahi
Lekin uska abhiman pehle aa Gaya

In sharp contrast to Rama's humility, simplicity and gentleness

We were introduced to Ranvana's arrogance through his chief advisor

What stood out in this episode was of course,

Jab Raavan ka guroor aisa hai

Toh Raavan Kaisa hoga?

From the moment Malyavaan met Janak

The contrast between them was evident

While one was very keen to be a warm host

The other was there to establish his supremacy, by proving his host unworthy of the mighty Ravana

Of course, if his intention was to impress Sita with Ravana's might he chose the absolute wrong

way By destroying the very bhumi which Bhumija regards her mother!

The confrontation between Sita and Malyavaan was superb! Thoroughly enjoyable to see Sita hold her again and more than match the arrogance with her quiet determination

Oh how the mighty are good no to fall, and how we shall enjoy the defeat of arrogance!

Now waiting to see Ravana and his defeat...

Very enjoyable episode!

It was his arrogance only that was the cause of his downfall, otherwise he was a brave and a learned man!

Malyavaan is too arrogant...
His. bhavi rani dialogue irritates...
Siya dialogue he should not speak very high of raavan coz if he loses that will be very shameful.Fab..

And he calls her bhavi rani as if he's doing her a favour, little knowing that these are not at all the qualities that impress her.

I can't wait to see Ravanas humiliation now

yup it was only and only his arogance and over pride which leads him to the path of destruction...

otherwise a ruler a scholar and over all a mastro vina player like Raavana was hard to find in this entire word..

He was such a great ruler and scholar that when Rama deafeated Raavan ...and when raavan was taking his last breathe ..Ram ordered lakshman to take blessing from Raavana and ...asked him to give u ...the power knowledge that ravvana had.

So it was only his arogance and over pride which leads raavana and his kingdom towards the fall..😊

Malyavan was annoying as heck. Waiting for Ravan and his characterization though I'm not convinced with the idea that Ravan attended Sita's swayamvar.
Great post BTW 👏

@Arshics the epi stood out for that confrontation between Malvyaya and Sita. And I would say Sita's character shone through the entire interaction. Her inner strength without being overt was there to see. Though pained by Malvyaya's words calling her Lanka's future Rani she stands firm on her duty as a host. And makes no mistakes there.
She makes it very clear she has not fallen to any of Malvyaya's charms or so called greatness of Ravan, but unlike Urmila keeps her response steady and firm.

Malvyaya represented those men to me who think marrying a woman is something of a help they are rendering to the woman.
So he has to come to help Janak that too if he thinks Janak is worthy of him.
Only Ravan can tie the string on the dhanush. Now I understood why Sunaina send Sita to Maa Gowri's temple. Sunaina in that scene doesnt tell anything, but today I understood the mother's wisdom.
Ravan is Shiv Bhakth par excellence and under normal circumstance Shiv has to oblige his devotee. And if there is one power that can stop Mahadev from obliging at his devotee that is Shakthi herself. Shankar's better half. Gowri's love for Shankaar is so much that if there is a choice between his devotee and Gowri's devotee Shankar will grant the boon given by Gowri. Maa Gowri presides over Shankar with her love for him. And Sita has got Maa Gowri's blessing and Shankar will only honor that blessing.

The same Malyavan, just before the Lanka war, requested Ravan to send Sita respectfully back to Lord Ram to avert the disaster he foresaw for Lanka and Ravan himself and his family. Ravan sends him away rudely.
