Hi Guys.
Today's episode shed light some of most relevant issues. Without delay, here is today's top five.

1) An age old question: This was asked then and this is being asked even now. Why? Why should we let a girl be educated? Why should we let a girl empowered? Why should we let a girl have self-confidence? Why should we let a girl be...a HUMAN, as human as a any man?

Let us not assign a woman any divine power and say she is like a Goddess and worship her. Then slay her for having flaws.

Let us not treat her as a chattel of a man and treat her like a slave. Then slay her for having confidence, ambition and an opinion.

Let us see her as the HUMAN that she is with all the flaws, imperfections, desires, wishes, problems, goals as any other HUMAN being.

Let us reflect on this. It is high time.

2) Education: Education enables you, empower you. Gives you self-confidence. Gives you capacity to think for your self. Education helps you face this mess of a life. Education helps you make sense of this chaos of the world. Education is not just schooling. So, why should not a girl be prepared for her future, just as a boy? Both need to live this world. Give her education and see for yourself. The girl can be working inside the house or outside, she is going to do it with dignity, self confidence and respect.

Two incidents in my own family. Two of my cousins lost their husbands recently. Both of them are in their middle thirties and have one girl child. One cousin picked herself up, got herself a job which she liked, moved to a new city and started a new life for herself and her kid. She is educated, have seen the world, have traveled. She has self confidence.

The second cousin is still stuck in an impasse, unable to move forward. She is at the mercy of her in-laws,could not find a good job which would support herself and her kid. She is not educated, got married when she was very young and has not seen the outside world at all.

You think on this.

3) Empathy: This is an emotion which is not appreciated enough. Empathy and not sympathy which would make you a better person. Empathy allows you to be non-judgmental. Empathy allows you understand other person's pain. Empathy allows other persons to make mistakes, just like how you make mistakes. Empathy allows you to be compassionate. Empathy tells it is okay to make mistakes, you just need to realize it and move forward. There is no place for guilt or shame when there is empathy.

4) Unbridled joy: No, I am not talking about happiness. I am not talking about being content. I am talking about Joy...that uncontrolled, Unbridled joy. When have we last felt it?
Joy is dancing in the rain, not caring about what people will think or how you will catch cold.
Joy is taking a moment in your busy day and look around you, take a break and eat a chocolate.
Joy is...being.

Let me know when have you faced such Joy.

5) Rules and Emotions: Three mothers curtailed their immense longing to see their sons, whom they have not seen for so many years. All for some rules. When it comes to love, is any rule more important?

Very nice take 5. Yes are rules bigger than emotions?
Well, Rama rajya is known for upholding maryada and reeti above all else, so I think that yug is remembered for this.

While it was nice to see the regret of Gautam Rishi, he is taking comfort in the fact that it happened for a reason, but then it still doesn't exonerate him for making Ahilya pay such a heavy price for his misunderstanding

Kshiti good post and I agree to you on education. I have put a personal experience with respect to that aspect in my post. Do read it there, cant type again https://www.india-forums.com/forum_posts.asp?TID=4519878And coming to that dance in the rain. WOW it was such a joy. They showed Sita is nature's child once again. The way she dances away in the rain just like the peacock. It is like when nature sings, Sita sings. When nature shows its happiness, Sita understands that happiness and she joins the nature in its happiness. It was such a blissful scene. If you ask me the last time I felt so close with the nature would be when I visited Wayanad with my spouse in 2010. I would say it was a blissful one week. Close to the nature. Listeneing to it and completely away from the modern world.
Yes Kshiti rules are there. But the problem is we human always mess up when to use the rules, on whom to use the rules. When a rule needs to be used, most probably it wont be used and the rule in most cases will be used at the wrong place. Our vedas itself tells Mother is the first God. And even in Shiv Puran, Ganesh takes 3 rounds of Shiv-Parvati and says he has roamed the world. And you make such a person wait for the sake of rule. It's time we think whether we are practicing what is written in our scriptures in true sense.

Thanks Arshi...😊

Yes...Tretayug was about upholding rules.

You are right. Saying "whatever happened, happened for a reason" does not mean you are exempted from the responsibility and accountability of the act you have committed.

Thanks. 😊

You are right. I too felt it strange that Sunaina would express such views. But sometimes, someone has to speak like this to convey the importance of education. You have to set a scene to make a point.

Thanks Shruthi. 😊

Can you please resend the link? It is not working. Would love to read your post.

You are right about Sita. She is the daughter of nature.

And Wayanad is such a beautiful place. I too went there for few days couple of years back. We need to visit such places to move away from the modern world and just simply enjoy the simpleness of the life.

Yes you are right about rules. Are we really following the rules because they are there or have we really understood what they mean?

Hello Kshithi,

I have just begun to watch this show and so far I am loving it. I came across a few of your episode takes when I decided to visit the forum and I must say they are just as much enlightening as the show.

Education is a fundamental human right .No one should be deprived of it. It is a powerful tool to help us understand the world that we live in and how to survive in this world. Educating the girl child has been a never ending debate. And its a pity that sometimes even the most learned people fail to see the importance of giving this right to a girl .If an ancient King had such progressive thoughts than what has happened to the modern people? Have we regressed?.

Empathy is one the most vital character building traits and if one is looking for a simple definition, the two words that come to my mind is being human.

Regarding Unbridled joy After watching the epi and reading your views I am planning to take walk without an umbrella the next time it rains. If I fall sick, will deal with it later😆

Hoping to read more of your highlights😊
