In short, I have always felt that this guy is a narcissist, your quintessential, self absorbed, self-important guy. He had a very lofty sense of self, whether he presented that ring of Mishti's choice behind his mother's back or wondrously showed her his passport with changed name or had her hold out her hands, with eyes closed in the middle of a party, so he could sensationally drop the keys of the new car into her hands, or if he erupts on her for insulting " his friend" , it was never about anybody else, but HIM. He is the center of his own universe. It is about his artificially inflated self-esteem, that " Aaahhhh factor" is what he was aiming for. As long as everybody is aaahing, and not contesting him, he will be the saccharine sweet, dimpled, smiling guy who would spew out his valuable suggestions, opinions, agendas and orders and once in a while throw some crumbs at people for enhancing effects and embellishment. In the process, he presents himself beyond good- unique, exceptional and superlative, Sarvagun sampann💔.

However, the minute he perceived a possible threat or an assault to his artificially inflated self-esteem, he reacted violently to Mishti whether it is during her birthday party or NOW. During the birthday party, you can see him reacting to his perception that Mishti had undermined his authority ( not because Ruhaan was insulted, mind you ), he acted with a vengeance, he reacted arrogantly and is blatantly condescending. Now, toh, he has gone over the deep end with his intention to get into one upmanship with Mishti. He is bordering on being a sociopath. He had no genuine interest in anybody, not Mishti, not Ruhaan, he will only use them if they help him be that SUPERIOR person in this world. I, time and again quoted that drinking scene with Ruhaan where he starts talking about Ruhaan's love and ends up blabbering mostly about how great his life is. HE IS FEELING THREATENED NOW, that he had been shown the door by a woman who should have worshipped the land he walked on. How dare she ? Somewhere out there is a man BETTER than him for her. How dare he? And how dare Ruhaan CHOOSE to align with Mishti in this important battle of wits with him? This is why he is lashing out at both Ruhaan, Mishti and even going to the depth of manipulating them, be it either planting cheap liquor, or trying to create a image of a kidnapper/gold digger, or now trying to appease Ruhaan that he is " his bhai" and therefore he should side with him. It is all in the game for him that HE IS SUPREME and he is going to prove it by any means, good, bad or ugly😲.

Nobody can be a more steadfast narcissist than this guy. One of Kurt Cobain's quotes comes to mind to me " I don't care what you think, unless it is about me" . So, no, he hasn't changed, he is showing a different facet of himself as his circumstances have changed😡.

Mili Dear 👍🏼🤗❤️ thanks alot Explaining All This 😎👏wondering about his Too Superficial Character 🤪Don't Exposing Out Clear by The Actions 😈 There is even more instances Like Mishti Told about Dare Kiss 😉 - He said Before marriage Is OK but not after 😆+ HE Not Touched 🤔 to Make Her more Guilty of Her own -He so great feel

Introducing Mishti to Ruhaan Scene -How HE is So Lucky etc 🤪 there is lot to show Case He Is The Super among All 🤢😈 But Reality is Wat Coming out From Hidden 😎where Things /People NOT in Favour 😳

Arnav ❤️😛Real GEM sensing The Oddness 👍🏼😃Proving His Inward Sweetness in the Form of Defence When Things Not in His Favour 👍🏼😎Time to Time 😃 to that high Fellow 😈🤢 .

Have a Good Day /Time 😃❤️🤗👍🏼🤗❤️Dear 💓💓💓

OMG! How did I miss this? I totally agree with you Mili. Even I found something off in him since the beginning.

I felt, it was all about him. I felt, as long as people agree with him & follow him without questioning, he was okay!

The moment, someone dares to have a mind of their own, he lashes out.

He tries to turn others against Ruhaan by insinuating that Ruhaan is a kidnapper. Whereas, on other hand, he calls him a bhai(with a slight smirk)

Double standards much???

Hard time is true test of your character. You can't get over your breakup is understable, but stalking, planning, plotting, character assassination can't be understable. At the end of the day Mishty is an individual and it's her life, you cannot impose yourself on anyone. He has every right to feel pain, hold grudges, never forgive her, but you go around making her life miserable for a sudden rejection is sign of obsession, not pain or love. What if Mishty had decided to walk out of marriage coz of any reason? Made her life living hell as she dared to dump a gemmy gem? As I see he considers Mishty as his own property who has no right to walk away from him.

Character assassination comes only when love dies, kunal started pointing out Mauli as 'giri huyi aurat' when he noticed that she's the biggest hurdle between him and his divine kartoot. Veer looks at Mishty as gold digger coz for him Mishty was a commodity who had no right to walk away from him, othereise he would call her with all worst names available in his dictionary.

As there were lots of comparison between previous season, here is mine. We have 2 incidents, one side Mauli handled worst possible betrayal with dignity, other side veer cannot handle a suddent rejection like a human. Mauli tried to know fault from her side when there was none, Veer didn't even bother to talk with Mishty to get proper clouser before forming an opinion that she's a woman who is using men for money. All humans are not same, but at the end of the day we all are human. It's test of your character and upbringing. The way Nandini dumped his bestie twice for different men, still Mauli didn't form an opinion like nandini is 'everybody knows what?' That's the character.

Mishty already messed up everything when she was working as per as calculation like love is all about perfection. She learned a lesson there. She cannot take life as a 'job' anymore where you have to do it even if you don't like it and you should give 2 months prior notice before resignation. What is giving hint before break up? She should have created some problem with veer intentionally as prior notice? Or she should have ignored him without any reason as 'hint' of breakup? On top of that, marriage was just 1 month away, in process of giving hints, they would have started all functions of marriage.

Having said that, when this season started, I expected it to stoop to Kundini level hiding behind 'only engagement', but they handled it well. But Veer was not required after breakup, they could have given him farewell with all gemmy gem qualities who was upset with sudden changein Mishty, but human enough to walk away as neither the character got clicked with audience and actor is a big failure. Pehle, they tried make him male version of Mauli forcefully, now they are forcefully trying to make him Rajdeep. He cannot even come near Aditi and Abhinav. They should tell him tata bye bye and there are few more triangles available to deal with.

Bold @ Can't agree more.

They should have sent Veer away , given the character a decent exit rather than butchering him like this. The CVS didn't have to change him into a baddie like he is now, as MisHaan have got wider acceptance, much better than they could have hoped for.

Now the way they are ruining him is actually not fair. He is heartbroken, buy instead of feeling sorry for him , they're making it look like he deserves the rejection. But honestly speaking he wasn't that bad of a guy initially except minor flaws like any human would have. Which flaws even MisHaan or Pari ot Arnav have. Yes the heartbreak has changed him, it had made him go nuts. But with proper guidance he can also come around like other characters, which is lacking here. They should stop butchering him further and give him a good closure where someone helps him come out of this negative spree. That would be a better storyline, better writing by the creatives.

But this current track of the turning him into an avenging monster and making it look like he deserves/d the break up pain, isn't going well with me.

Yes veer has changed now . May be he has some flaw earlier too but he was not shown in early episode like that person who can break car mirror of anyone and do character assassination of anyone. After engagement break I see veer doing such weird such thing. Before engagement break I didn't not find do veer doing such weird thing. So yes veer change now, in fact it is big change

When CVS has not shown such temperament of veer earlier in episode like breaking car someone and doing character assassination of someone I will not say he has been like this earlier also

And yes they have butchered veer character. Because veer was not shown doing such abnormal thing in earlier episode .veer was shown caring and calm person but now they are showing such abnormal behavior of veer so certainly veer character is butcher

I don't understand CVs at all, they don't allow us to connect with the characters at allI'm not just talking about this show but in general about ITv .... There's no explanation, all we could expect is actors suddenly starting metaphysical activities and it be called "unexpected twist". They did same with kunal nowhere before memory loss track we got a hint that he wanted more time from Mauli which maybe Mauli failed to get... All we saw is him re-falling in love at a rain dance and then suddenly cheating on his wife! The grey was expressed all wrong! I would say it's all about execution or maybe the actor failed to emote well. Underlying that "Harvard equivalent whatever degree" he is a complex persona which appeared suddenly , had it been shown from starting it would have been a different story! Maybe if was shown from the starting that love is never unconditional for him things would have been different?
