The heart wants what it wants whether it needs it or not. For example, my paper gets rejected by a journal, I will be soo disappointed and might feel sad. The journal is not wrong in rejecting my crappy paper. But from my standpoint, whether it is crappy or not is immaterial, my disappointment is about not seeing my paper in print. Disappointment toh disappointment hota hain na? Whether sahi or galat? People around me might feel that I am stupid for feeling sad when that paper never deserved to be published, but that doesn't lessen my disappointment. I hope the analogy works here !!!!Yes, did I see emoctions??

I don't think I have ever read a post like this one, you have a way with words, I will never reject your papers 🤗Coming to the show, I understand he is disappointed, I get it that Ruhaan is in love but the scene came without any build up for it... I didnt expect it

Interesting post and replies.

I agree with pretty much everyone here.

I wouldn't say a grownass man doesn't cry. But the whole plot is messed up.

Shockingly, Season 1 seems much better now, even KuNan.

I don't understand what is the need to show a triangle? If the writer really wanted to justify KuNan, there was another ways. Like in Jab We Met, Aditya was initially miffed with his mother. But Geet made him realize even she had a right to choose the person she loved & eventually he moved on, reconciled with his mother.

Ruhaan could enter Mishti's life as Pari's friend and there could be interaction between them through which he would change Mishti's perspective. We could have Kunal's or Nandini's monologues. Basically there were so many ways to show Purane Rishtey & Naye Jazzbat.

But the writer made a bigger mess than it was in Season 1.

All the characters have a lot of potential yet they are looking cheap. I like the fact that Ruhaan doesn't want to compromise. No one should do that. There is this cult Thai movie called Crazy Little Thing Called Love & I remember while watching, I told my bestie that if someday we both fell in love with the same guy, we'll be honest with each other and let the guy choose for himself. Love is one thing. But we would never compromise on our friendship neither will we play great nor helpless.

Considering how Ruhaan and Veer are so close, this much honesty he could show to Veer & let Mishty decide for herself. Here he is crying because he couldn't come earlier!!! What type of a friend is he? Even Nandini is looking better in front of him.

I wish Veer gets to know everything ASAP & move on. MishAan don't deserve to have him in their lives.

Next scene was mishti kissed unknown guy just to fulfill bua's dare which can be called as childish act but not lusty. Second kiss was for veer but due to darkness in the room accidentally she kissed ruhaan again we can call it accident/mistake but can't call it lusty.

One was that towel scene which was sudden and was looking like accident where mishti was not interested in showing her body to pg guy . Scene can be called as stupid/ pathetic but again not lusty.

This is writers fault who is writing such scenes in place of showing much needed communication between them .

If we go by only character then mishti character has never kissed or hugged ruhaan intentionally or happily or to get pleasure. If character itself always shows discomfort after such incident then why to call that character lusty?

What should be ideal way to judge someone ? We should judge entire sequence based on scene or based on character's characterisation?

Here you are calling this all the scenes lusty but if I go with character mishti and her characterisation and look at entire sequence then I find it childish/accident/mistake but nowhere near to lust.

So on what basis are m and R connecting and finding true love .Teenage ride up the mountain ?

Did you even watch S1 or just replying anything? Kunal didn’t help Nandini just as a wife’s friend. Initially he did it for that reason. But later, they became friends. So they did have FRIENDSHIP BOND and not just emotional bond before it developed to love/Kheer/rain dance or whatever one may call it. Here Mishti and Ruhaan doesn’t even have emotional bond so forget having any friendship. They didn’t even have a proper conversation.

@bold--thats biggest irony...even after 38 episodes -mishaan not got good normal talk between them..jo bhi scenes huwa woh chemistry ke naam pe physical scenes huwa...no depth in those physical chemistry scenes..writing for season 2 is even more pathetic than season 1...

It's all started with crush from both the side just like teenage attraction which just happens without any meaning or calculation between people. Beginning was like ruhaan had crush on mishti and mishti felt attraction towards ruhaan even after being engaged .

Agar koi unke school time ka first crush yaad kare to shayad yeh bhi yaad aa jaye ki is crush/ attraction bina soche samje ho jata hai .M and R preliminarily connected just because of that crush/attraction.

Now here thing happened was crush ke ghar mai rehne ko mil raha hai maze se to din raat sote jagte crush aaju baaju he hoga/hogi because of same house to dil mai of course zyada gudgudi hogi .Thode time baad crush sirf ghar mai he nai rehta hai , family ke sath bhi time spend karne lagta hai or family ke sath bhi bond banane lagta hai . Crush ke sath ek he ghar mai rehne ko mile to emotions ko hawa milne lagti hai or ek he ghar mai rehte rehte ekdusre se pyar se baat kar k ya nafrat se baat kare , flaws jab samaj aane lagte hai ek dusre ke tab emotional bonding automatically develop ho jati hai .

Jo shuruat ek crush se hui woh ek he ghar mai rehte rehte or jagda karte karte crush to understanding and understanding to emotional bonding mai convert ho gaya .

I can only wish now agar mishti ki ruhaan ko ghar se nikalne ki koshish success gai hoti to crush ke sath ek he ghar mai rehna nai padta or zyada hawa bhi nai milti .

It can be crush or attraction but again no lust.

To be frank nothing in the show is making any sense to me. Not Mishti’s flip flops, not Ruhans Pyar, not Pari’s Pyar, not Radhika’s meri Bachi teek Nahi hai, not whatever they are showing with Ansh n all. There is no story, no flow, nothing. I m just watching bcos I like seeing KJ on screen lol.

Love is wanting to improve other person's life regardless of your other feelings. Lust is wanting to have sex with a person, regardless of other feelings.

So Ruhaan does not feel lust for Mishti but love. There are have been many monologues how he wants to take away her sorrows and wants her to be happy. There was that no Haq dialogue on her birthday. Some Saath wala dialogues when she was crying when she learnt he was an orphan.etc etc.

I dunno how can people call it lust...did the definition of lust changed somehow? Calling it attraction is another thing but calling Ruhaan's feelings for Mishti lust is actually an insult!
