I am curious to see what will be ruhaan 's next step after he and mishti acknowledges their feelings to each other.

Let's see he will go to nandini way or not who chose to do affair on friend 's back or will ask mishti to first confess everything to veer.

I didn't find anything wrong with the episode until I came to the forum.
Step 1: Mishti hated Ruhaan because she felt she made a complete fool of herself.

Step 2: Despite her attempts to hate him, she couldn't ignore him and this made her hate him even more. She saw him as a threat to her happiness and really thought he was a bad influence on her brother.

Step 3: He has been nice to her, she knows his orphan story, her guards are down and she softens.

Step 4: She confronts him on the photo and asks him to delete them, now knowing quite clearly what he feels about her.

Step 5: She gives in to the happiness of being loved by a guy she has started caring for too.

Step 6: She realises this is way beyond sympathy or mere friendship from her side.

Step 7:She tries to sort out her feelings.

The story has continuity for me and Mishti has made sense so far.

And mishtis confused mode i am defenitely not enjoying.. I want her also to reach a conclusion soon.. But that girl is tied up by the burden of commitment and the fear of ending up like her father... So ya expecting her to come up clean so fast will be a bit too much.
I wont try to defend their actions as i know there is no justifications for what they are doing to Veer..Its just that i signed up for this show knowingly and i am able to enjoy it.. I watch the scenes and enjoy without pondering much about it..

Count me too. I am loving it. And I don't see anything wrong.Today scene was very much needed so that they can understand love for each other.
Mishti is not married to Veer. And she will tell eventually for that she need to come out from her fears first which is very tough for her. And she told she can't break Veer heart also once , so she knows she worried that she is committed. All I want is Mouli and Ishaan daughter Mishti should be happy , she should not suffer like Mouli.

I would not supported physical intimacy untill Mishaan marriage.

Agree with each word.
Only issue i had in season1 was theat the characters gave in so easily.. They didnt give much thought about mouli..so in season2 i am quiet satisfied with the way things are moving so far.
Yes, Ruhaan accepted his feelings quiet easily without much fight.. But all this while ruhaans feeling was only his problem and he was going to keep it with himself..he never had the hope of him getting a chance with mishti..But now that he knows mishti is reciprocating his feeling, i want to know what will be his stand now..will he care about Veer or will he not...and if he choose to be selfish then will he be okay with being 'the male version of mistress' (whats it called) like nandini or will he urge her to call off the wedding..i am excited to know all this.
After reading your post i am having this doubt that can a woman be in love with 2 men simultaneously.. If yes, is that wrong? I would love to read your perspective on this.

Well, see, love is a feeling and how does someone decide which feeling is right or which feeling is wrong? The society has,of course, set some parameters of rightings and wrongings, mainly for the purpose of maintaining harmony within the society and religion only serves to strengthen those parameters. But then say for instance,I am a Muslim so alcohol is a no-no for me and I cannot be consider eating pork. But then more than half the world drink alcohol and they are not exactly dying because of it,right? However, for me, it is wrong. I gave this example to only demonstrate how right and wrong are basically subjective, there is no universal right or wrong.

So when we talk about feelings, monogamy, to be involved sexually with only one partner and bringing it under the sacred' institution of marriage are all socially constructed. We try to abide by the socially prescribed rules but our basic nature may of course take over from time to time. I think it is entirely possible to hold romantic feelings for more than one person at the same time, but given our society, a person can neither voice it,nor act on it because even the people involved would probably not understand. Now if Mishti walks up to Veer and says see, I love you but I love Ruhaan too and I want to be with both of you, will Veer accept it? Will Ruhaan accept such a situation? Will the society accept it? We ourselves will call them sick people and as it's a show, may even end up calling the show a po*n.

I believe the rules and norms of society are important to maintain discipline and harmony in society. In absence of rules, murderers and rapists could run free. Marriage as an institution is equally important. However, I believe, we also need to accept that as human nature is very different from what the society tries to portray, there will be transgressions. People will pursue their happiness pver others and that's normal. Just because all drama shows show sacrificial lambs who even get married to someone they hate out of love for parents and what not, these things hardly happen in real life. In real life, people elope and get married to the person they love if parents don't agree, marriages break because partners fall out of love with spouses, people hold on to marriages despite falling out of love due to societal pressure, people get involved in affairs despite being in love with their spouses etc etc. In life, we do things for others happiness mostly when it tallies with our own, when it grossly contradicts ours, we usually opt for our own happiness. If there is one thing that precedes our own happiness at times , it is the social pressure. Not everyone can handle that pressure, not everyone can deal with being a social outcast, not everyone can accept being judged and so, those of us, who end up giving up on our happiness, mostly do it due to the social pressure, not out of some feeling of love for anyone or with an intention to sacrifice for someone.

I know, which is why I am not making opinionated posts right now and just silently reading the forum posts mostly. But I also know the type of content I enjoy watching, and the show doesn't seem to be going that way so I have chosen not to watch.
Honestly, I thought this would be like an actual webseries due to the limited episode nature of the show. But its so ITV like, and I'm not fond of that. I have only ever watched one other ITV show- Bepannaah. I have so much other content to watch on netflix and amazon prime that I have chosen to invest my time there until the story here changes to more of my liking. :)

And I expected to like Ruhaan, but he annoys me tbh. And since he has so much screen space (since he is the lead obv), I'd rather give myself a break and come back a while later to see if the annoyance has been toned down.
