I also believe that mishti should show her real self to veer at every step whether he likes it or not leave it on him . Be yourself and free yourself .

I am wondering why mishti is different with veer and his family ? Since when she has started to behaving like this ? Since beginning? If since beginning then why veer is never asking her why you behave differently in front of my family because at one side you are dancing with strippers and other side you are putting pallu on your head because I have seen your both the side and being your would be husband it's my right to know.

Why he is not asking this simple question to mishti even after witnessing two different mishti where one was dancing with strippers in front of his eyes and other is putting pallu on head in front of his eyes .

Why should Veer question Mishti's choice to wear what she likes, when she likes?

And he so proudly wraps his hand around this fake Mishti and presents before his parents

Is he faking too with his parents that he is bringing a pallu vali bahu...when he clearly knows that Mishti is normally not like that😕

Maybe because clothes do not determine character of a woman, a woman can dance with a stripper and cover her head when she wants to, I don't think anyone has a right to question what Mishti wants to wear, it's her choice after all.
There is a contradiction in this, so we are expecting Veer's parents not to judge Mishti for wearing jeans, but we are going to judge her for wearing salwar and covering her head? why notice her clothes? Clothes should be insignificant, Veer's parents should not like Mishti for her collection of salwar kurti and people shouldn't think that she is different for the same.

For me clothes are not an issue, we are saying that a woman who covers her head, can't go to a strip club? It's one side of it, the other side says that a woman who wears shorts or western clothes definitely dances with stripper
Why judge someone on the basis of clothes they wear?

Umm a girl can wear short dresses in a pub and then go to a temple wearing a suit ...,Since when does clothes signify one's character
Isn't it common for girls to go out with their partners wearing short dresses and visit their in laws place in a kurti or a suit ?????

Also Mishti wore an Indian outfit as she herself wanted to do it and no one forced her ...I am not sure why will Veer have a problem with it or is he supposed to ask her 'Mish why did u come in a suit, why didn't u wear that small one piece that u wore in the pub in front of my parents ?' 😆😕

Don't we dress according to the occasions ????? If we wear a suit and visit a temple, keep fast or recite a prayer but also go and party with friends does it mean we are fake or hiding our real selves 😕

If writers really want to show that a woman wearing an Indian outfit of her own free will means hiding her real self then they have completely lost it in my opinion ! A dress doesn't define a woman's character or real self

@Anshvi
Mishti is a modern woman and modern woman = Drinking beer, dancing with strippers, wearing jeans and western clothes

Girls who wear Salwar kurti or cover their heads are regressive.

Stereotyping and limiting women, Veer and Ruhaan can wear Kurta in Veer's engagement, it doesn't change their personality.

This is one of the reasons I loved Mauli, that woman didn't like wearing saree but her clothes never defined her, she just doesn't like it so she won't wear it, but it wasn't like wearing saree changes her character, she used to wear Saree on occasion like Karvachauth.

I don't understand why Veer should comment on Mishti's clothes in first place? It's not his right to do so

Exactly
It's a stereotype that modern women wear western outfits while regressive women wear Indian
If writers really want to portray that Mishti is not being her real self if she wears an Indian outfit in front of her laws and behaves politely with them then they have officially lost it

I never meant anything about clothes while writing this comment. For me it's all about only mind set.

All I wanted to say was one side she is having free /modern mindset where being herself she enjoys party /dancing/work life etc and veer had seen her happy like that with his own eyes and other side that same girl thinks she should wear pallu in front of her in laws and these both mishti can't be real .

Why veer is not asking her that
" why you behave differently with my family by putting pallu on head because I have seen that mishti who is independent, modern and who can think this pallu thing is outdated but same mishti chooses to put pallu on head even after my family is not insisting it to do so being your would be husband it's my right to know that why I am witnessing two different mishti since the day I met you ".

My point is nowhere about cloths , all I wanted to say was about two very different side of mishti that veer has already witnessed and this is very natural to have question in mind.

Exactly ! I mean since the day they met , he has already witnessed how she is living with her family where kids drinks beer like water, loves to party , girls are financially independent and all in all having modern outlook at their home and that mishti who is independent, modern and smart May be not believe in outdated pallu things . And that mishti who he witnessed in front of his family is completely different then why he is never asking her that why I witness two different mishti in front of my family and your family?

There is nothing about cloths in my mind so please don't take it in wrong direction.
