Was Veer testing Mishti?

He saw Mishti leaving with Ruhaan. Yet he asked her if she was at home. Good for Mishti, she came out with the whole truth without Veer having to probe her further.

Agreed, Veer might feel something odd about Mishti Ruhaan, since anyone would suspect there is something fishy between them, just like Pari asked Ruhaan if he had met Mishti before. Also, Veer could have not seen the girl next to Ruhaan properly. Still, since he called Mishti immediately, it seems like he saw her.

Why did he ask a question like that then? He could have asked her if she was out or even mentioned Ruhaan.

Points to a subtle mistrust issue that Veer is fighting, just like Mishti is fighting her issues. He tried to persuade Ruhaan to spend the day with her too, which means he is temporarily settled.

Mishveer relationship is really interesting actually. There seems to be some basic rules in relationships these two are brushing under the carpet, while both jumped into commitment or love.

Why didn't Veer wish her in the night? He should have been the first one to wish her! May be he wanted her family to wish her first, but would she not expect a call at midnight from him?

None of these is a crime, just wondering what Veer was thinking when he asked her 'ghar pe ho'? when he knew she wasn't.
