She was talking abt Kunal.. what brought this topic? And as a plot, I think it's more for mishaan. Mishti will not break her engagement, it will be veer who gotta release her. As of ruhaan, he saw the whole EMA past so he too will try to stop himself, knowing mishti is already scarred n in pain.

the only thing why they kept this EMA back in the story...this show is all abt the EMA concept...mishti-pari both are kunal's daughters...mauli-nandini integral part of the story...so when they mix S1 into S2 is to bring differences b/w the sisters duo later on...the way they are showing the bonding b/w the sisters with the sudden outburst of mishti in the precap...they are already penning down situations for it n what more easy for them gifted to them in a gold platter...S1 concept EMA...

Mishti is an adult now and knows what Kunal did. She knows the gravity of her biological father's actions. She's definitely talking about Kunal's betrayal.

I hope sisters duo realises that ruhaan types aatein hai jaatein hai...but what last forever its their sisters love for each other...hope the sisters bond are not destroyed like mauli-nandini...

I can actually understand where she comes from after all There is no concept of ex-father, isn't it? Ofc she loved Ishaan more than Kunal but you cannot blame her to think of a probability where Ishaan doesn't enter their life, they had Ishaan she and her mom were very lucky❤️ but that doesn't make her forget that at a point kunal hoped she didn't exist so that he can run to his kheer-make-love!
