As you get to know the person and things get stable , its love , trust and commitment that keeps the relationship going. Hence spark and excitement , can be reasons to date some one but not marry some one or love some one. Mishti shouldn't breakup with Veer because Veer is boring and Ruhaan exciting , that would be a filmsy reason. Mishti can breakup up with Veer if she realises that he isn't the kind of person she wants to spend rest of her life with and Ruhaan is. We go through many relationships to find the right one. We are true to those relationships but if the person is not the right one then it's better to break up before marriage rather than break the marriage. Now problem here is Mishti already is engaged to Veer and ready to marry him. She at least believes that she loves him. She had admitted that her self. She is even comfortable with physical intimacy. So now writers have to very carefully and slowly and gradually show why Mishti moves from her current feelings for Veer to her feelings for Ruhaan. They have to show why currently Mishti feels she loves Veer but slowly comes to realise she doesn't but loves Ruhaan. And all this can't happen suddenly or while they are fighting . It can't happen because of spark, chemistry and excitement . It has to be something much deeper. Writer needs to show what that deeper is.

+10000👏. Sau take ki baat sabhyayata ji. They messed up S1 also in same way. Everyone knew kundini will happen. But it's was so hurried and out of place. It made no sense. If Mishti is seen falling for Ruhaan it had to be something bigger than just attraction or hotness.

Some will argue that commitment and love are the same thing.

I remember in first few episodes S1 when Mauli didn't give Kunal enough time, Mauli did not read him. People said the same thing that they think they love each other but they don't. Kunal does not love Mauli, he thinks he loves her. On the contrary Nandini did understand Kunal better but we sympathized with Mauli from day 1.

I remember so many posts were made to bash Kunal when he dreamed of Mauli because "It is emotional cheating".

Mishti did say that she loves him, if she is not sure about her relationship, she shouldn't have agreed to marry him in first place, betrayal is betrayal.
If there is a problem between her relationship with Veer then she should talk to him and if she is living with him for the stability then she is just using him, and will throw him when a better one comes along. The man will go through heartbreak.

Love and commitment can be the same thing if commitment comes from love. But these two terms become very different when there is a commitment but no love.

Nandini-Kunal-Mauli's story wasn't explored properly because people weren't able to accept it. People fail to understand that life isn't perfect where everything becomes happy happy at the end. Life isn't a fairy tale. They thought of Nandini as the other woman but they never gave a chance to understand her properly.

It is difficult for people to accept that a married man call fall out of love with his wife and in love with someone else. The lovers become the culprit and the wife is termed as victim. Kunal and Nandini were not wrong to fall in love with each other. They were wrong when they chose to have an extramarital affair by keeping Mauli in dark.

And to be honest, Mauli was wrong for trying having Kunal back in her life. She should have divorced him the moment she got to know about the affair.

And I have said again and again that we need to focus on what love is for Mishti. Mishti thinks that love means commitment. I repeat! For Mishti love means commitment only and not the heartwarming feeling that gives you the courage to risk everything for.

Mishti would betray Veer by keeping him in dark about her feelings for Ruhaan. If she chose to confess about it to him then it won't be called betrayal.

And yes, I agree with you, Mishti is using Veer to have a perfect life and Veer as well is with Mishti because he thinks that Mishti is perfect. Both of them are with each other because of this so-called "perfection" which in fact is nothing but an illusion.

And about Veer's heartbreak, what do you think is better; a heartbreak or a life-long pain and burden of being tied in a loveless and meaningless marriage?

old mauhaan shippers justifying mishaan relationship 😲 gajra is definitely going to prove his point successfully.. cheating is not wrong as long as cheater is hot..
calling mishti single was the limit 🤣 is she single?? seriously??
as someone wrote, deep down everyone knows mishti is going wrong way.. but u know its all about shipping, no one really cares about right or wrong..

Same here. I always wanted sid ridz to be the end game. Sid was the best character in that show. This happens when popular actors play a slightly greyish role or someone who do bad deeds. Their bad deeds r brushed under the carpet. And Word like chemistry hotness are used to justify everything. I remember one terrible serial bairi piya. Their male lead almoat molested the female lead. He used to torute her. But ppl liked their jodi cos it was hot😆

That's why kunal went after exciting rain dance , hatke sarees and other things that women wear and yes some excting food too.

Yeah and ishaan was boring bcoz he wasnt jumping to bed and neither was he getting physical...unlike kunal who liked to grab mauli physically all the time...ok...

i don't know what constitutes of boring or not but in this silsila world where very one falls in out of love like its a joke. It was Ishaan who was loyal and selflessly in love with one character all throughout. Unlike Kunal who no one knows whom he loved or didn't. Even in season 2 people are just falling in love because of beauty or car rides 😆.Ishaan all throughout loved Mauli for the person she was never wanting her to become a saree clad ,kheer making woman.. Even though Mauli rejected his proposal initially he waited and waited. Never expected anything in return. There can t be a character like Ishaan in Silsila world again .Intensity of love is not measured by how you push and pull your love interest but by how you have stood by your love interest through everything and anything. Ishaan's love was intense. That is what i would say his love was intense and selfless and loyal.

I can agree that Ruhaan will bring out the best in her if handled correctly story can be good

By herself, we mean her true self.

Mishti with Veer is perfect, goody good types who don't have a flaw. But in reality, Mishti is insecure, hurt, fierce, sometimes annoying, sometimes silly and sometimes can be very very angry.

Mishti has created a perfect life for herself, where there is no chance of anything going wrong. She sees Ruhaan as a threat, she is afraid of having him around because she fears what will Veer's reaction be if he came to know that Ruhaan is the one she kissed. She was so worried about kissing a stranger and now that stranger turned out to be Veer's best friend.

Mishti has never behaved with Veer as she behaves with Ruhaan. Veer thinks Mishti is polite and sweet while Ruhaan knows that she is not.

This needs to be handled carefully for it to be a good story.

I remember that I had commented on the thread where it was announced that Twinkle patel was not going to be a part of IB. I had commented there that I would love to see Tejasswi opposite Kunal/Omkara but I was criticized for my opinion😆 That was even before Vrushika's entry was announced in the media.😳

It's been almost 3 years now and I can't explain how happy and satisfied I was when I got to know that TejNal are going to be a part of Silsila😳

BOLD: Exactly right! Ruhan can figure if Mishti has flaws whereas Veer just praised Mishti for accepting his family. Plus, we can't tag 'EMA' as nobody is married as of now. Also, when Mishti said that she confessed about her kissing Ruhaan, I feel she will tell, in future episodes, that she feels something for Ruhan to Veer. Personally, I don't think CVs are ready for another backlash just like S1. 😳

Mishti did tell Veer that she loves him, she was comfortable with kissing him. If the actor can't emote better than it's his problem. The crux of the scene was that Mishti and Veer are physically comfortable with each other.

If there is a problem in a relationship, the relationship will break before another one begins but if another relationship is stemming before breaking the previous one then it is betrayal.

I understand one thing which is that EMA, cheating, betrayal are wrong only when the victim is someone you like or the cheater is someone you dislike. If you like the cheater the you will find different reasons to justify his or her actions.

Come on
It was in front of Veer that she had her first meltdown about her fears, on her engagement night. Veer definitely knows her fears.
Veer knows that Mishti is polite and sweet, he has to stay one day at Malhotra house and watch her yelling at her siblings. We are just assuming all this because we want reasons for Mishti to be with Ruhaan because he is hotter.
