Personally I don't think any one is boring or exciting. Every one is special is their own way. Now like some one else said things like spark, excitement etc fizzle out with time. As you get to know the person and things get stable , its love , trust and commitment that keeps the relationship going. Hence spark and excitement , can be reasons to date some one but not marry some one or love some one. Mishti shouldn't breakup with Veer because Veer is boring and Ruhaan exciting , that would be a filmsy reason. Mishti can breakup up with Veer if she realises that he isn't the kind of person she wants to spend rest of her life with and Ruhaan is. We go through many relationships to find the right one. We are true to those relationships but if the person is not the right one then it's better to break up before marriage rather than break the marriage. Now problem here is Mishti already is engaged to Veer and ready to marry him. She at least believes that she loves him. She had admitted that her self. She is even comfortable with physical intimacy. So now writers have to very carefully and slowly and gradually show why Mishti moves from her current feelings for Veer to her feelings for Ruhaan. They have to show why currently Mishti feels she loves Veer but slowly comes to realise she doesn't but loves Ruhaan. And all this can't happen suddenly or while they are fighting . It can't happen because of spark, chemistry and excitement . It has to be something much deeper. Writer needs to show what that deeper is.
