The first time I saw her is a moment that will be etched in every heartbeat of mine. I could not take my eyes off her magnetic aura. She seemed to ignite a spark, yet there was such a cool calmness about her. Her hair fell in cascades like a stream of soothing water. My camera-my comrade - was as mesmerised as me. It devoured her just as my mind lapped up the surprise, the disbelief, the confusion - an interesting contrast to the hot mess my brain was. I don't know how to describe it. I could probably say our vibes were just in sync. I did not wait for the introduction . My mind was so high, it urged me to float away. There had to be some magic in mystery.
The second time we met, it was her turn to sweep me off my feet. She stealed in like a cool breeze and landed a hot kiss on my cheek. No photograph could capture the sweetness of the moment. It was enshrined in a simple piece of tissue paper. She left me with a flutter in my heart, unanswered questions in my head.
The next time I met her was by the poolside. It was again my turn to surprise her. She ended up giving me a rude surprise. She rejected me, pushed me away as if I was a piece of dirt. Did she read my intentions wrong? Did she not understand this was not a game? I still had time. Beer never tasted better.
And then, she broke my heart. She decked herself up for my camera - as my best friend's bride. We both died in that moment. I found my bearings, managed to live through it. I am fine. Hey, I will live!
She walks up to me like a queen. Holds me hypnotised to her. Mumbles something about me misunderstanding her in what could be imagined as an encounter. Misunderstand her? What about me? I couldn't have misunderstood myself! Nothing has been clearer to me ever, lady.
Fate makes our paths cross again. I am in her house. Every wall, every tile, every picture there must have a story to tell about her. They are the missing pieces of the confused mind of a girl I love. Love?
We are caught in an embarrassing moment. It was hardly my fault. She kept staring at me. As if she couldn't breathe, just like I couldn't move. It should have been awkward. Another precious memory to add on, to keep taunting me.
Getting acquainted with the family is knowing more about her. Every one of them has something to tell me about her.
Why torture myself ? I start to crumble the kiss and throw it out of my life. The heart refused to let go. This one was worth keeping. I stored it away, hidden in the depths of my heart...
She taunts me , accuses me, ignores me. How do I tell her it is no fault of mine. I don't mean any harm. Perhaps it is right for her to keep me away. I should keep out of her way. As if that was possible!
I catch her kissing him. Oh, the dagger it runs through my heart...Where can I run, to hide my pain...
(Hi all! The last two episodes have focused on Ruhaan so much, it is hard to ignore him.
In fact, Gajra has written him in such a way that I wonder if she ever wrote Nandini and Kunal the way she intended them. They ended up looking evil, somehow.
The shot of Ruhaan's first day in the house- reading in the house, the rooms, the memories that belong to Mishti -was the best scene in the whole of Season 1 and 2 I have watched. I hope Gajra is writing the rest of the story well.)
