I love this new version of Silsila. It's quite modern and a breath of fresh air and so far the acting and storyline have been good. I'm really scared of getting too into it because the previous season was honestly such a mess but so far, I've loved the episodes and I like all the characters. There's a lot more complexity in these new characters than there was in the previous season and that to in 3 episodes. The previous characters had harsh experiences that the writers never properly managed to incorporate into their characterization and the ultimate product was not good. An abuse victim who fell for her best friend's husband could have been a complex character. The perfect couple who drifted apart and how that scars both of them could have been the perfect story line. The kind soul who heals the broken and betrayed woman could have been the perfect love story. Alas that didn't happen and I am too scared to pin these expectation on this new season but how I hope this story manages to properly cover the "juzzbaat" tagline.
Mishti is in love with the idea of love. She wants that perfect fairy tale love that Mauli and Ishaan seemed to have. A girl's ideal partner is quite often a reflection of her father. Mishti's father is Ishaan and Veer embodies a lot of the characteristics that Ishaan had. He is there for her in every step of the way. He understands her. He loves her. And Mishti loves that about him. But he calls her beautiful and she says thank you but you can tell it doesn't make her heart skip a beat. He makes her feel safe and with him she sees herself living that perfect stable life. But for that Mishti would have to be the comfortable, seedhi-saadhi, "hair in a bun", suits and salwar girl which is only half of who she is. Yes, Mishti can be they obeying sanskaari ladki but she is also the girl who goes to a strip club with her grandmother. There is a side of Mishti yet to be explored, not only by the writers but her too. Presumably that's what Ruhaan will show her. But what I hope she realize and what I hope happens is for her to see that she can have that safe life and risky life with Veer too. He may not pull her hair out of a bun or make her feel that thrill but he accepts her for both parts of her life. I personally really hope Veer and Mishti end up together because stability doesn't need to mean boring, it's comfortable and easy. And the best relationships require hard work but the kind of hard work that happens easily and naturally. The consequence that her parent's never truly had to face is what Pari faces today. In retrospect, I'd say Pari's had it much harder than Mishti, not that we have much of a backstory with either girl to go through. Pari grew up with only her dad and practically not other family. On top of that her dad's a doctor and albeit they don't show it much on the show, but doctors are very busy. I'm assuming Kunal when abroad was quite busy too. Pari had to grow up quite quickly because of that. As a young child Pari had to watch her father go through a memory loss. He was the only person she had, after all she'd only known the rest of her family for a couple of months, and he was taken away from her. He didn't remember her. It's traumatic to have to go through at that age. Her entire life, presumably, Pari has had to live with the knowledge that her mother is a home-breaker. Her parents cheated someone who Pari herself considers an angel. I hate Nandini but to Pari, she is first and foremost her mother. She doesn't agree with her mother's actions obviously but she loves the woman. But she can't express it. Her mother is a taboo topic in her family so Pari bottles up about it. And I think that's really what's caused a lot of the commitment phobia. She's scared of becoming like her parents and she's never actually been able to say that. I think there's also still a part of her that feel like an outsider in the family. It's unfortunate that the karma that didn't properly hit Nandini and Kunal, hit poor Pari instead. As for Pari's love interests, I'm not sure who I'd want her to end up with. Arnav seems like a good guy, but he's quite far in the friend zone. Having said that, it's also stable and comfortable so I would like that. Ruhaan and Pari, I don't know about. It seems very "attraction at first side" from Pari's side right now and so I'm not sure. I think I just want Pari to realize that she's a much better person than either her parents and this insecurity she has of becoming them is unnecessary. I wouldn't mind if she just came out of this single and having learned about self-love. Come to think of it, it would be a pretty interesting and well-appreciated twist on my part if both girls ended up single and this journey taught them how to love themselves. The acting, as mentioned before, is so far so good. Tejaswii plays off both side of Mishti with easy, fluctuating between "sanskaar" and "club" styles with ease. Aneri transitions beautifully from Pari's chirpy and bubbly facade to her deeper insecurities and commitment phobia. Kunal, although not much seen yet, has incredible chemistry with both girl (bit more with Aneri IMO) and portrays Ruhaan's calm and cool attitude as a photograph quite gracefully. Rohan, the surprise for me, is the perfect kind and sweet lover boy who every girl deserves. A great start but I remain fearful to get attached. Hopefully this show is every bit the success that it's predecessor wasn't: The real and complex story of "Juzzbaat sahi ya galat nahi hote, juzzbaat toh sirf juzzbaat hote"

Brilliantly put up, even when I compared I found Ruhaan and Pari's chemistry more than Mishti and Ruhaan.. The difference is just unnees bees. . I don't know it's too early to predict whether it should be Pari and Ruhaan or Arnab... But I have seen concern and love of Arnab for Pari ,which makes me ship them.. Let's see how the future story unfolds... I have no clues if Ruhaan is going to fall for both the girls or not..

Veer doesn't need Mishti to be like that. She has no obligations in future too. Veer might not be living with his mom but there won't be marriage as well. I don't want it even if they may show. He needs better than a cheater so pls don't show him large hearted to accept her back. It is always her choice and their side characters don't have meaty characters. We can understand about screen space but they don't have proper roles. Mishit is more formal and doesn't share her thoughts. She is going to fall for new attraction like Shagun to spice up her life. Veer is true man but not experienced in women like Ruhaan.
pari and arnav is too good...arnaav care a lot about pari and his bua is too good...they make perfect family...but pari and ruhaan share sizzling chemistry...i am ok with both scenario...
