Sometimes people get attracted for no reason and the strong bond happens in few days ..Some PPL stay together for years and the bond is so brittle ..Ruhaan is in the 1st case.

He holds her close to his heart for no reason

Though he has feelings for her , he is trying to analyse her behaviour first , every time she behaves rude , he is looking into the issue ..Eg the Movie Card

Rest all were trying to pacify Mishti , he looked into the root cause.

You prefer to look into the rudeness shown on face and he prefers to look into the real reason disturbing the person

That's why I call him a gem and the best character of S2..

Regarding staying at her place , it's the writer's choice to make him stay in that house to take the story forward
