Ruhaan was wrong when he decided to stay in the house instead of leaving with Veer but I don't think he's backstabbing Veer. Backstabbing would've been if he wanted Mishti for himself and worked on the same. Yes, he's saying poetry for her but those are only his feelings. Till now he's in limits with these newly developed feelings. He stops at the very moment he thinks she isn't comfortable or interested. People say he'll cheat Veer but that hasn't happened yet. We can't judge him what he's yet to do. He may approach Mishti or he may not. Till then I won't jump on conclusions.

About his character, he compromises on his self respect and has feelings for his friend's fiance but that's not everything he as a character is. He is quite sensible and warm. He tries to help people around him. He looks through people and tries to make them feel good. Yes, he has flaws but that's how human beings are. We are no saints and shouldn't judge others based on their flaws only when we ourselves are comprised of both flaws and qualities.

This, never understand ppl calling him names ,He isnt even taking any chances or trying to flirt.He might be genuinely trying to help.Wasnt Aman from Kal ho na ho on similar lines might be he is toned down version

The main problem here is that characters of this season are compared to the characters of previous season, otherwise the story is normal just like other shows' story.

We've lots of examples of same kind in bollywood and in tellywood as well but comparison to the previous season is making people biased.

At least there is no EMA, people may say cheating is cheating whether there's marriage or not but belonging to a conservative(not regressive like some people might say) society we all know marriage requires more commitment and responsibilities.

Also there is huge difference the one in S1 was 7 yr old marriage , the one shown here is less than an year and we do know sometimes ppl jump into engagement and then break it .While it isnt case with 7 yr old marriage
