but right now my concern is the white washing of kunal, the immaturity and dumbness of characters..

this is no where near redemption because for redemption you need to acknowledge your mistake first. One needs to accept the mistake made. This is not even whitewashing. Whitewashing is if the EMA was still being shown as great or divine love. For me this is shamelessness and audacity of the writers who are forcing us to forget what Kunal did. There is even no mention of how horrible Kunal was before the leap . Does Mehak now how Kunal cheated on Mauli with her best friend? No because writers want viewers to forget what Kunal did. There is no mention of how horribly Kunal treated Mauli before the leap. I am not even talking about EMA but how he blamed her when Nadini went missing, how he behaved with her when she pleaded for his love, how he doubted her pregnancy , what horrible words he used. I am sorry I can't just automatically delete that part from my memory because writers want me to. It's not redemption or whitewashing just audacity of the writers who don't want their male protagonist to even mention what a terrible husband he was. Ok show him as a great doctor as a great father but also with that show he was a horrible husband. No but that part they want us to forget. Bad writing is definitely there. Any writer would know you need to give closure to your viewers or readers. Where is the closure here for the way Kunal treated Mauli? Has he even acknowledged how he treated her? I can't just forget that without closure because these writers want me too. I am not asking that Kunal should fall down on his knees and beg for forgiveness . No. But just one small subtle line that Mauli I am sorry I doubted your pregnancy . I am sorry I said those horrible things I wish I could take it back. That is all. That would be closure enough for me. But these shameless writers just want us to forget it.
