I don't think it's a jealousy track..he's not trying to make Mauli jealous...maybe he's just trying to show her that he's not available as he has a gf so Mauli can move on. I think he's trying to help Mauli move on . He wants Mauli to have the 'love from Ishaan that he won't be able to give her...

he brings mehek to get more taunts from mauli...i can imagine her saying to mehek infront of kunu 'you love this man,does he even understand the meaning of love...he loved and married me and had affair with my BF...he marry nandini and she is no more...he found new love in you..after he gets bores with u..he will dump u and find a new one...before he breaks your heart...dump him...he doesn't deserve love'

yes I think even though Kunal does not love Mauli , he does care for her ...she was his college friend , then his wife and now the mother of his child ..and he himself said that she is a wonderful woman. But he knows that he can't give her that love thst he had for nandu so he probably wants her to forget about him and go to Ishaan. Because when she was drunk she told him that she was doing fine until he came back and now she's scared that she is going to love him again ..So he may want to show her that he has someone else in his life so she doesn't fall for him again ...

Technically If I was Kunal and I cared for Mauli I would leave the city and go back to US instead of bringing this Mehek.. just saying
