There is a lot to discuss, Mauli didn't retaliate today, was it because she didn't have any answer or because kunal was really aggressive?

I couldn't move past the scene where Kunal drags Mauli and pins her to the pole, then threatens her, if you think about this situation, any woman would be scared to speak

I have noticed he does this alot, is it normal for people to threaten and manhandle women like this?

about this particular scene the only thing i have to say is it was an emotional outburst.

i am not saying it was not manhandling. it was. but he would have never done this if mauli hadnt accused him of leaving them indirectly.. and i think he didnt cross his limits in that scene.. it was more of an emotional outburst than manhandling. but manhandling was there.. not denying it..

and mauli wasnt threatened but perhaps she had accepted something which she is not supposed to be.. 😕

To your first sentence. It was neither. She didn't said anything because in my opinion she could see that he cared. He loves Mishti, something that many have doubted him for. I think Mouli could sense that passion in his tone, She could see and feel it. Also saying "he doesn't deserves to be a father" was a bit too harsh.

If Mouli had felt threatened, she would have said it. She isn't the type of character to hold back words. If she didn't felt threatened than its wrong for us to assume for her on her behalf.

I was just wondering if it's normal, which it shouldn't be, he has no right to manhandle Mauli, it's just weird that this show dealt with domestic violence yet Kunal, their hero is violent whenever angry..

About Mauli, if I was in this situation I would have shut up because it's not wise to push a man who is threatening you

i feel u but this is ITV u know.. this isnt progressive but they always show such scenes where a male lead just drags female lead and tells her his emotions.. i mean he could have simply stopped her and had asked her not to do that again.
i already mentioned it in my post that maunal was never about tripping falling catching saving and manhandling.. but thats how itv works.. sad reality..

mauli knows kunal really well. he was her husband.. how can she be scared of him? he is no random person who is telling her all this..

I am not questioning the characterization of Kunal here, we all know he is supposed to be this positive person, who wouldn't hurt a fly...

It's just that this is not normal for me, this is violence and they are showing it as something which is ok, I don't know about other itv shows, this show had a domestic violence theme, this is where it starts, where people men or women think they can be aggressive with people, hurt them physically, it should not be normal...
Also Kunal is Mauli's ex husband, he is a tv character so we know they are trying to show him as a good person but in reality I have read so many cases of ex husbands assaulting their wives, it's not right

Kunal is so disgusting omg, who gave him the right to manhandle a woman who's currently engaged, let alone manhandle a WOMAN period. 😡
