Silsila is like a inspiration from Look Back In Anger

I have been following the show previously just by knowing the highlights on insta but I only did started to watch it from the leap and since am Literature student and I have this prescribed book to read for my exam which is called Look Back In Anger and the reason why I feel it a bit similar is the relationship between Alison (Mauli) ,Jimmy (Kunal) and Helena (Nandini) is almost the same .It is that ,like Mauli and Nandini who were best of friends same was with Alison and Helena but the relationship which Kunal and Mauli had was alot of love and understanding till Nandini entrance in their life they we're a happy married couple who had no issues at all with each other and they were perfect and they could understand each other work that they both are from the same profession and all but in the case of Alison and Jimmy they already had issues between each other because of class issues and plus Jimmy wasnt that rich where he could give Alison that life and tells her she can't feel his pain of struggling a middle class life and Alison is pregnant but she doesn't tell him about her pregnancy and kept it a secret until Helena came and tried to pursuade her to leave Jimmy because he always treating her bad and even Jimmy doesn't like Helena a bit after Alison leaves , Helena discloses about Alison pregnancy ,it doesn't effect him and he also wished that if ever Alison gets pregnant and says wish she would never become a mother and she will loose her child and then Jimmy and Helena start a affair and Helena leaves Jimmy only after realizing that she broke a family where a child was gonna be born but it didn't happen and Alison comes back to Jimmy and Jimmy feels sorry for what he said and he repents and feels the loss of his child

The differences here are only that Kunal started to love Nandini when he was married and when he didn't have any issues with Mauli ,and left her by rejecting the child existence and claiming it to be a trick to get him back and here also there is aa difference is that their child is alive but he doesn't know that it exist

And plus what Helena felt at the end of the play ,Nandini somewhat felt it ,when she knew Mauli was pregnant

So in all it's a loosely based on this play that it's somewhat connected and somewhere not

But I really wish that the ending becomes like Kunal regrets his misdeeds of rejecting his child existence and uniting Mauli and Ishaan 😊

well i really hope kunal realises the intensity of his mistakes..

he should be shocked enough to lose his senses for few minutes after realising his mistakes..

he should know that mauli isnt able to move in bcz of his betrayal.. she didnt marry ishaan and still is compromising with the situation and not giving herself a chance just bcz of him.. he should blame himself..

i hope writers are reading .. huh..
