They showed parallel between Kunal and Mauli's parenting today, Kunal is an attentive and loving father and Mauli is hated by her daughter.

Mishti didn't mean it obviously but was the scene needed? With Kunal and Pari's bond we all agreed that kunal is a good father, looks like that wasn't enough, they had to show not only Kunal is a good father but Kunal is the only good parent on the show.

It's clear they want to make Mauli's work as a reason for Kunal leaving her now they'll show Mishti has same problems, so Kunal cheating on Mauli wasn't his mistake, it was Mauli's mistake, poor Kunal had to suffer his family's rejection that too because Mauli is a working woman.

If I recall correctly Gajra in BV, showed Anandi a housewife as a better character than Jagya's wife, who was also a doctor, so the writer has some problems with working woman, maybe she thinks women should focus on their household, ghar ki Laxmi bano doctor to Kunal bhi hai

I just feel this scene wasn't needed unless they show Mauli repenting (Middle finger to those who wanted Kunal to repent) not spending time with kunal

Really wanted to see Mishti and Mauli's bond, I know Mishti does not know about Mauli's past and she shouldn't because she's so young but Mauli has been through a lot and I don't understand the divinity of sleeping with wife's best friend.
Just feel really bad for Mauli

The writers are smoking something!!!
Whiever is writing this is also a working woman na!!😆
How weird they are downplaying women like themselves...
Honestly it felt like a justification of sorts for the EMA through Mishti's words or maybe i am reading too much into the dialogues because I am apprehensive of the incompetent writing...
So far two episodes after leap were good and then it has again started to go downhill...
Whats with the kunaal's stupid dialogues...
And i am truly baffled as to why ema hhas become the "in thing" for concepts of shows...3 shows of the channel deal with it...
Whats the obsession with ema!?
The holy bomd of matrimony is also being looked down upon via these shows...terrible message...

This show truly sickens me. There is not a single tv show on indian tv that celebrates the modern, working indian woman that juggles career with home life.

As for the kids if this was some othwr show i would have taken their dialogues at face value but here the qriters literally make the characters walk on symbolisms...
So for Mishti to call Mauli a bad mother was oit of character for her and parinbeing so understanding is an imdirect way of garnering sympathy for Nandini... And also kunaal because he jas sympathisers as well...
Why is the writing so substandard?

Sometimes I feel, are we wrong that we don't understand the basic concept of ideal women? We connect with Mauli because she's like most of us, I wouldn't leave my career for my child and Mauli is responsible for finances of 4 women. Dida is old her medical expenses are obviously not cheap, School fee in metropolitan cities is no piece of cake, Mauli has to work, she can't sit at home.

What the hell is the point of showing this scene?

Absolutely... Sometimes tongive a child better education, a better life in entirety both parents have to work even if initially the mother was a housewife... and they both do it willingly...
Imagine husbands or wives falling out of love because of this...also children Mishti's age do understand the reasons of their absence and the difficulties of a working mother...
She was shown so sensitive...why the contrast suddenly...
And why did i start watching the show again...*headdesk*

i dont get why people are getting mad at this scene and cant digest the fact that it is a very real issue in many families of our society. show is not promoting anything. we are just being showed the harsh reality of our own society where people like mauli who are lucky to have such an understanding family have a support system but many are not so lucky and they constantly face criticism for not prioritizing their family over work. mishti is not an adult. she is just a 6 year old who is throwing a tantrum like any kid. as for what she said, it is not new to see a kid or a teenager say hurtful things to their parents. its just that in our so called sanskaari serials we dont see this type of storyline as they barely have an ounce of realism in them.

Actually the problem for criticism here is that no indian serials makes being a woman with a career a good thing, and shows that if indian women try and have a career then it will have poor repercussions. This is the case for every indian serial that wants to just show stay at home women serving their in-laws and husband and sorting out family issues to get most sanksaari bahu/ wife award in a positive light, yet show women having careers in a negative light.
