Kunal already got punishment for his sins indirectly. Nandini is dead and his daughter has to face the brunt of his sins since the child lost a mother at a tender age. He has to spend his entire life alone knowing that his family hates him and his daughter is motherless.
On the other hand, Mauli got support from the family, is successful in career, has a man like Ishaan who is at guard of everything about her, Mishti has a family who loves her unconditionally and a father who will never let her be hurt ever. It doesn't matter if Kunal rejected her existence since the child got a father like Ishaan who is so dutiful towards her. She got the best of the world. As for Mauli, it'sa different thing that she is still in the past but had she moved on with Ishaan, she would have a happiness she could ever imagine.
So, Mauli and mishti actually got their happiness in Ishaan and that's what they deserved.

Had it been in real life, then it wouldn't matter if Kunal repented or not since his repenting and apologies are not needed and Mauli-Mishti-Ishaan already make for a happy family who have each other.

I am still fine if Kunal never apologizes and is never forgiven but Mauli moves on with Ishaan in every sense because she deserves that. Mishti never needs to know about a amn like Kunal.

While Kunal can live with the sorrow. That is his punishment, an isolated life, while Mauli has a companionship for life. Karma works in weird ways and not always in the desired way, but it is always bittersweet.

P.S- this show has similarity with Bonny's life.

I agree with ur view but than when comes to ishaan...i would want the character to grow first...we know nothing abt ishaan...all we know he is a friend to mauli and also in love with her...he loves mishti as his daughter and kunal's family too...he is a business tycoon but what is his background...who is he actually and how Mauhaan met and their backstory?...a back story is needed to connect...even Kunan was rushed that we all despise the couple...

furthermore mauli is a single mom...to take a decision...she needs to be caution...she has already been cheated n betrayed in love and friendship...i don't think she will be able to take thr next strike and here its involve her daughter mishti...we have a douchebag who loved her and married her...in a perfect love n marriage of 7 glorious years and suddenly everything changed and the freak broke her heart badly for his lust for another women...after what kunal did...i also can't trust any man in the show...not even ishaan...like mauli...i am also taking time to trust him...

lastly mauli has not moved on from her past...she smiles and tries to move on but honestly she did not even move a single inch...there is a love-hate emotion in her heart for that creep...sometimes you need to face the past to move on...she needs a closure to her past...ishaan can never do that...only kunal can do it...he is the one who inflict her with pain...he is the one who will make her move on and give a closure...she needs to face her past once...

as for kunu...he can rot in hell for all i care...but than there is little pari with him...she needs her buddy...he should go back to abroad with pari realising his mistake and also do his responsibilities as a father to mishti too...so that father-daughter bond is not broken...like i say a father is always a father...no fatherly figure can replace that bond...ishaan can be the father but mishti needs both fathers love...his real n guardian father and i see that no wrong

I agree with you on Kunal's punishment/repentance as well as Mauli happiness if she had moved on with Ishaan but she has not which is huge and deliberate on the makers side. Plus this is drama so there has to be issues.

I think the makers will first concentrate on the bonding between girls like Kunal -Mishti vs Mauli-Pari without each knowing how connected they are. The fact is Mauli is still stuck in the past with feelings of hate for Kunal which is nothing but the other side of love. For her to truly move on, Mauli has to come away from that hate and for that she has to forgive Kunal. Whether her hate changes back to love or whether she finally lets go of Kunal and chooses Ishaan will be her journey.Either ways she has to forgive, not for them but for herself, to fully recover. Makers will show us both the tracks and the kids will play a big role here.

Another thing that was very deliberate was Mauli hates Kunal but she still remembers Nandini as a friend. Thus, Pari is a reminder of her friendship as well as her betrayal but because of her bonding with Pari, when she finds the truth, it will be a true test/trial for Mauli. Pari would be looking at Mauli as her mother and Mauli will not be able to turn her back on her for this reason only. She does not have to be connected with Kunal to fulfill that role though.

Kunal is still stuck with Nandini and this will play a big role in the future story for Mauli as well as Kunal as this will always be the bitter truth between them. I say this because from what they have shown so far, Mauli and Kunal were together for 7 years and he did not even miss her but Nandini and Kunal were together for less than 6 years and he is still connected with her even after death. This is huge for a woman who still has feelings for her ex-husband to accept but she will have to acknowledge and accept it for her to truly move on either ways.

I dun think this is kunals punishment . If it is , his attitude is not such . He isnt feeling any repentence or guilt for destroying so many lives . I got this with his expression in the restaurant when he sensed mauli . His punishment is his guilt alone . When he thinks he did nothing wrong , how can we say that he he is being punished ? Raising a child alone is def not a punishment .

He may keep ignoring the truth but the reality of his daughter being alone except for a father despite the fact that she has other family members too and knowing that they may never accept her is not something he can ignore even in his dreams. His restlessness in every moment is his punishment, his desperation to have a family for his daughter, his fear of answering innocent questions of the child is his punishment.

Kunal may think that he did not do anything wrong but harsh reality would never let him be at peace so easily. And once he comes to know about another daughter, the father in him (not an ex-husband of the mother) would be hurt too.

Raising a child alone but wanting to give best of the the world to the child and his sheer helplessness in being able to do so is his punishment.

Kunal has to see punishment for his deeds through his daughter only. Karma has weird ways to show itself.
