I'm sure she was not narrated the match maker role as it was very clear from very first promo that it's about EMA. I dont know what exactly was narrated to her and what kind of changes they made.
Still... It's matter of common sense that one cannot glorify EMA in perfect marriage and a woman having fling with bestie's husband won't be appreciated in any country, culture, society.. Didn't Drashti think about all those points before getting into this shit? It was revealed from very first promo that Nandini will have feelings for her friend's husband, at least that point was not introduce later. Nothing was hidden, everything was clear from promos. Yes, execution went wrong... but EMA concept is very risky and sensitive, there are more chances of not getting accepted, they should be ready for that as well.
And Mauli was made someone who is not worth getting love from anyone to glorify divine concept. How was that glorification? First, they cheated on her, all her emotional and mental break down was preceived as glorification? 😆
