Because few days ago, DD promoted the show and then went to some place with S etc. So it's weird she had some change of mind that fast.

Drashti has every right to quit becoz she was not delievered what dhe was narrated and jaya's statement proves and supports it that story hv been drastically changed to make viewers happy.Drashti has compromised with previous ph also as far her character is concerned becoz story mb was different when she was offered the show but later it was changed due to make viewers happy and she didn't leave the show kept on doing show for sake of show to work.But this time she was not only not given what was promised infact her character was reduced to showpiece to tell the story of mauli.Writer not only wrote bad character for nandini but kept on glorying mauli on expense of destroying the characters of kunal and nandini futher.Why the established actress would like to play sidekick or show piece she has every right to quit the show and she did it gracefully without any blame game and tantrums .She didn't make hu hala out of it .I respect her for this .This is professionalism you are not satisfied with your role don't play game just step down gracefully which she did.But i can understand the pain of ppl here they have lost their job which kept them busy on this forum.This is your last chance here in this forum ppl bash as much as you can ji bhar k karlu kuch adhura reh jaye lol

I am sure it's a mutual decision between the actor and the makers. She didn't want to portray someone negative or secondary and they didn't force her to stay either. Makers are exploring the tracks that can bring TRPs and also going for cost cutting.

My vote would go to the writers. After all this, this is where we land with Nandini dying. I kept hoping they will get a grip on the story but what they have ended up doing is making it a triangular love story. They could have started with it and the show would not have been in this mess. Anyways, I am happy they are killing Nandini, as I for one would have had hard time imagining anyone else as Nandini or relate to her.

And Mauli was made someone who is not worth getting love from anyone to glorify divine concept. How was that glorification? First, they cheated on her, all her emotional and mental break down was preceived as glorification? 😆

The show was going exactly the way it was promoted from the beginning.Ph did not cheat her at all.The story was always this.

And how do you know what role was offered to Drashti? According to promos and all, the show was supposed to be about EXTRA MARITAL RELATIONSHIP and Drashti was playing the OTHER WOMAN, not the wife who was being cheated on. From the begining itself it was shown that Mauli and Nandini were best friends. With only these two things in the narrative, that she will be cheating on her best friend, any sane person could have imagined what kind of role it would be.

Now if she was ignorant or arrogant that she would think even if she plays such a role, and neutral audience other than her blind fans would worship Nandini, then I dont know what to say.

Yep i m watching the same show where mauli's character was written in very detail manner .Her family background to her pov's are beautifully expressed .Whereas no background story for nandini,no proper monolgues ,no pov of nandini was written properly.Even after revelation she was given shittest dialogues to deliever .All strong dialogues and narration was given to one character that is mauli .While no emotional bonding was shown bw kunal and nandini.Writers rushed EMA part and jumped to revelation part.After revelation too both N and K were shown guiltless and given shittest dialogues how would ppl connect to characters who don't have back bone.Other woman perspective can also be written gracefully watch hasratein you will understand how ppl can connect to another woman too.Watch jaya interview she said jo story hum leke chale the vo to rahi nahi this statement itself indicate story has been changed to please viewers.Drashti knew her role is of homewreckar but she was not aware that ppl will forget the difference of real and reel .They hv bodyshamed her ,s**t shamed her,dragged her husband and costars and abused them.Her mother was dragged into this mess.She was given death and rape threat for what? FOR FICTIONAL CHARACTER and demand justice for Fictional ema victim disgusting.

Still... It's matter of common sense that one cannot glorify EMA in perfect marriage and a woman having fling with bestie's husband won't be appreciated in any country, culture, society.. Didn't Drashti think about all those points before getting into this shit? It was revealed from very first promo that Nandini will have feelings for her friend's husband, at least that point was not introduce later. Nothing was hidden, everything was clear from promos. Yes, execution went wrong... but EMA concept is very risky and sensitive, there are more chances of not getting accepted, they should be ready for that as well.

We saw an old intv of Dd from early episode when the show was just 3 days old.she said that mature people do all these things and this is a part of modern society.So blaming Ph is just wish full thinking from fans.i thinks its pure business decision.Makers wanted to show fresh story with another man for mauli and So DD was shown the door.
