No idea why makers had to push this after last fight between them when he clearly said about his decision. I mean Kunal still doesn't get to know about the pregnancy. And repeating the same scene made no sense unless they wanted to show Mauli as thick-headed desperate woman or bring a twist in the tale.

It would be a different story if Mauli told Nandini about the child in the video in the end (just like Mauli was the first to know about Nandini's pregnancy), but Kunal got the video, listened just the beginning or didn't listen at all & jumped the gun that Mauli was still trying to influence Nandini. Mauli would assume, that even after knowing about the child, Kunal has decided to stick to his decision, further killing that last point of persuasion by Dida- Radhika. And she would think, that Kunal doesn't care about the child too.

I mean sending video to Nandini doesn't make sense anymore. She sent it to Nandini but Kunal happened to receive it & that's when they again had a talk where Kunal further insulted her.

If that's the case, then this might be a strong point in Mauli's favor in future when Kunal might confront her about the child & Mauli can use the video as a proof to tell that she didn't hide it from him & question Kunal on how he chose Nandini over his own child. (Even though Kunal might know nothing about the child at all).

Truth about the child is the only thing that is left to tell Kunal. (I just feel that the guy should know about the child & then stick to his decision to be with Nandini, even though he doesn't deserve to know about the child).

It might go KRPKAB way, where Sonakshi came to Dev's house to tell him about the child after they divorced but his mom didn't allow her to meet him. This truth was revealed after leap only. When Dev came to know about his daughter, he became so furious with Sonakshi for hiding such a big truth from him & that's when Sonakshi revealed the truth that she had tried to contact him & brought their daughter to his home for him to know but was sent away from the main gate only. Dev confirmed it with his mother & that truth broke him since his own mother was responsible because of which he was denied fatherhood, even when the wife he sort of hated had tried her best to tell him about it. Dev badly desired to be a father. This truth was actually shocking for his mother too since she too felt bad for doing that in her anger with Sonakshi. That one thing made Dev very guilty & he let Sonakshi decide about how he would meet Soha. (Even though Sona never brainwashed her daughter into hating her father & his family). That was the point in the show from where Dev began to prioritize the mother his child over his own mother in that aspect.

Dev used to be torn between his mother & wife since his mother was very possessive of him. He used to strike balance between the two so much but failed to do so & Sona walked out of marriage because of several misunderstanding compiling & when her self-esteem got violated. Both remained angry for years since both thought the other had let them down.

Besides, Dev knew about Sona's infertility before marriage since Sona once had regular checkup for stomach ache & Dev went to take her reports where doctors confirmed that she had very less chances of conceiving a child ever but he didn't tell her about it thinking that she would leave him because of that. He tried hard to not let her know about it since he knew she would be hurt but false pregnancy symptoms of Sona became the main reason for the downfall of marriage & it was only after divorce Sona came to know about her pregnancy. She had conceived before the divorce on their second honeymoon trip.

I watched few episodes of that show,but well aware of all the happenings in that show until the leap.After leap story idk exactly .Yeah his mother iswari was obsessed with his son and caused hindrance to Dev-Sona marriage too.I hate him in the marriage track where he wanted to leave sonakshi as his mother doesn't want him to marry her.But finally iswari herself manipulated with prenuptial agreement something and made him sign those papers too before the mrg.She was a highly pathetic character

But Kunal has already assumed that Maul said something to Nandini, so his anger again on the same will be weird since dressing would tell that it's the video where Mauli was drunk. He knew Mauli was drunk.

Kunal could use a video method, they might even show Mauli using one.

But I wonder, how the hell are they purchasing & sharing the video memory cards just like that. I mean that thing is costly AF.
