No wonder colors agenda is to normalize shitty EMA. So, normalisation process isn't new. Sigh
Now, these dochebag legally free, these TV channel trying to normalize EMA socially.

Why don't we go back to 17th century? At that time, men used to marry one by one and kept them together even. Kushi khusi Mei rehte the they were!!

Leaving this show, KuNan etc:; it's truly saddening to see this verdict. Now people will get more chances to cheat and who knows they may even claim at as right.
Adultery is immoral and unethical period, nothing can change the fact not even these rules.

i welcome SC decision...
most of laws are skewed in favour of women as of now in IPC and now its time make them gender neutral..
.this is 1st step...many more laws need to be tweaked in future...

People are misunderstanding the verdict.

The Supreme Court has only said that women are not the possession of their husbands, so the husband of a cheating wife cannot file a case against his wife's lover.

Section 497 was a regressive law which stated that only cheated husbands could sue the wife's lover (but not the cheated wives against husband's mistress, mind you). It was right to discard such a biased and misandrist/misogynist law.

And to be honest, adultery is morally wrong in most cases, but it cannot be made illegal because that's plain ridiculous.

The law cannot and should not interfere in peoples' personal lives. It also violates the right to privacy which became a fundamental right in 2017.
