she did wrong.. but there is a huge age gap between her and mauli.. she is 2 generation older.. she will think like that only.
for her making kunal apologize is less important, but she wants her kids together for ever and thats what she is trying to do.. she will make sure she unites mauni kunal by hook or crook.. she thinks kunal is trapped in nandini's jaal..😆( she thinks , not me) so she will make nandini feel guilty for breaking a happy marriage..

no effort of her can unite mauli kunal until kunal regrets his deeds and asks mauli to give him a chance .. so dont curse dida..
i am sure not only grand mothers but most of the mothers would do that.
if dida had asked kunal to seek apology and he had denied then it will be a closed chapter by now.. and thats what she did want..

Yes there is an age gap but she seems really modern to me. In fact, her characterization seems to be very bluntly and "in your face" kind of modern. Like they're actively trying to show her as a progressive lady. For example, she encourages kunal and mauli to spend alone time and take long drives, she uses slang, modern technology, she even got kunal and mauli phone cases and she doesn't believe in stereotypical gender roles because she encouraged both mauli and nandini to work etc. A lot of people of the older generation don't think like her, especially grandmothers. So that's why I'm very surprised and disappointed with Dida's actions lately. I feel like she makes decisions too impulsively without knowing the full information. Even when nandini was being tortured by rajdeep, dida told her to give her marriage a second chance and go back to him. She didn't know the full truth then. Same with this situation, she doesn't know the extent of kunan's affair

What about her sending those pics to Nandini? What about when she called Nandini to turn on the TV? Are those acts considered right? Is she still considered from a different generation? I give Mouli credit for filing for divorce.

Dida really made me angry, why is she asking mauli to forgive kunal, she should have made kunal beg for forgiveness

Once agin asking for a woman to take the step, why not ask your grandson, always asking the daughter in law, first her own daughter in law (blaming her for the sons death) and now asking her grand daughter in law to forgive her grandson

She should have asked kunal

Yes Yes Yes. I absolutely agree with you. I did not see even once her making an attempt to talk to Kunal privately. But just saying how things can be worked out and so on to Mauli. But then I also thought Mauli was within Dida's reach and was able to influence more than Kunal who was having fun with Nandini. I think she knows She has to do something drastic to keep the family together and hence the heart attack which she was able to bring Kunal back.

But I also liked Dida for sending pictures to Nandini and asking her to watch the Tv, emotionally torturing Nandini. She is hell-bent on keeping the family together and she will turn into a tigress to protect her territory and bring wayward youngsters back to the line.

Exactly. But it happens in families. Women are always expected to forgive others while others donot even have to ask for it.
