It does makes you wonder. When there are so good dialogues and handling of character on one side and then poor dialogues and handling for other characters.

I can't deduce why this is happening or what is in writers mind.

One weird but maybe plausible theory is like some here pointed that this story is somewhat inspired from Sri, Boney & Mona life saga and the writer seemed to be close to Mona. Maybe through Mouli she wants to show that and also has a certain bias towards that character. The other characters are deliberately shaped like they are. They are probably not meant to deserve or get any sympathy, even by the writer. In that regard she probably used the much known faces to her advantage to sell the story and show.

They have made her a pendulum. In reality, a person like Nandini is hated with passion.

In one scene they want audience to understand hee plight, in other they just butcher her more.

Even Kunal is shown to be one-dimensional at this point with all his thoughts concentrated on what happened at his home.

But Nandini, all her thoughts on Kunal and then next scene she stands in front of Mauli with those crappy lines. Why are you defending yourself? Own it up.

Simple thing is writer is not capable of writing point of view of other woman .She is only good at plain simple characters like jyoti ,Anadi ,Simram and mauli.Sje has completly failed to write the pov of other woman nandini.

Thing is writers still think that a female character who wears saree, cooks and cries all the time while mouthing heavy and emotional dialogues will be loved. They need to understand that audience has moved beyond such things.

Its more about the character now. If the character is well established then even grey characters are loved.

Her dialogues are silly for us but not for the story, she is claiming that she loves Kunal and in upcoming episodes they'll show that Nandini's love for Kunal is deeper than Mauli's love for Kunal, Drashti knows that Nandini's character will win so there's no point of quitting the show

Even I read about this Mona story making an impact on writer, so perhaps scenes
written with her in mind.

What win itni galliyan kha li usne be matlab ki .Character k saath saath she is being trashed personally.Audiences are not able to connect character and just seeing one video i will not believe that writer will make nandini win if in your eyes wining means whose love is true .Writer is only good at writing simple female characters and she has faild to write the perspective of another woman. And seeing her track record she never justified second woman .It's not i want writers to justify namdini but plz potray her feelings properly aaj kuch aur bolti kaal kuch aur kehti ha so inconsistent.

there was so much potential for this character, and it's all going down the drain. why would you even bring a character to life if you're gonna treat her so unfairly. Mauli has been given such amazing dialouges and they all make sense and it's making me love mauli more each day. But I really wished the characterization for Nandani was just as good. They literally don't even know what to do with her because they don't know how to deal with her trauma in a way that makes sense. I'm so fed up.

I think she took this show because she wanted to stretch her acting skills. This is my first time watching her but I do not think its easy to portray those abuse scene, scared, under-confident, clingy female on screen especially as her personality is exactly opposite to that. Her acting after Rajdeep abuse in the beginning and even before the consummation was one of the best that I have seen on ITV. I guess this is the reason she might have taken this role.

Plus, they must have told her that they will show a growth to her character as she becomes a strong woman (when will that happen, God knows) so she would be able to portray different dimensions of the same character. Even if they show her slow decline to an insecure woman, then too, it would be stretching her acting skills which would be plus for her in the coming years and it would be different than what she has been doing till date. (As they have shown her as the lead this might not happen) Generally ITV, has only one dimensional characters from start to finish hence actors get bored with it but Nandini has potential to grow in various ways.

This character was suppose to be hated by the public, people are never sympathetic to the other woman but the real prowess of the CVs would be to see if they can make us like her or even understand her as the show progresses.

It's just amazing to see that the same show has a character like Mauli who speaks so clearly and connects with the audience and the other character of Nandini is made to look like a totally twisted character who thinks of herself as innocent and a victim while in reality she is the perpetrator of a very callous crime, is very selfish and is victimizing her own friend and making her go through the same hell as what she went through -Cheating husband and broken marriage.
Her dialogues make her look like she is not normal and a psycho.

Not sure how Dhrasti got convinced to do the role. She should raise her voice and let the show directors know what damage they are doing by presenting her as a lost twisted woman while trying to show her as pure and divine all at the same time. I mean if 90% of the audience can see it I am sure an intelligent person like DD can too.she should at least start saying that she doesn't agree with the character like Kunal has started to do.
