Unpopular opinion: I don't like DD as an actress, I think she is overated. Her shows flopped, and the roles she took are not versatile (like crying and all) at all and I feel she hasn't grown as an actor. She do wear nice clothes but for me, she is not perfect or anything

I kind of agree. She was amazing in DMG, Geet and Madhubala, but after that her roles have become repetitive - the strong-headed woman who falls in love with an strong-headed guy. This one is kind of grey with her playing a submissive woman, but I don't think she's been able to pull off the greyness yet, and the submissive part is just her blank-faced silence. She really suits better for crazy girl roles like DMG.
I can give her the benefit of the doubt that the characterization is messed up, but still her crying/shivering is really annoying and puts off any sympathy I might have for her character.

I'm glad someone else feels the same way. The over the top shivering is quite irritating. Sometimes I get confused on whether Nandini is a human being or a vibrator.

Wow the blind worship some Drashti fans display on this forum amuses me so much. You guys criticise Aditi to glorify Drashti. Let me tell you guys from what I have seen Aditi is acting much better than Drashti is. At least she doesn't vibrate when she cries
Edit: Just to clarify, I don't dislike Drashti in any way. I think she is immensely beautiful, and I did like her as Naina in that Star Plus show. It's just, some of her fans kinda put me off her. But I will try not to let my personal annoyances get in the way of appreciating Drashti when she deserves it!
