Literally my mother has even started watching the show.. She is also like why don't the makers bring the truth in front of her and show how she recovers.. Day by day I am getting more addicted to the character Mauli

The lines you wrote
Her small family
She made it with love
Dedication and trust .
Her little nest is shaking
By for whom she made it
The friend who took refuge
In her nest , destoys it
With her betrayal !

Yaa heart breaking ...
Mauli must learn not to trust any one like she does
Hope she will come out through betrayal ,!

Nice post,beautifully written.

Makes me feel more for Mauli.😭 On one side, is this the good person receives for all her good things, how can it be fair. On other side, want her to come out as even more stronger without losing her good self.

I have a list of female leads I have loved till date on ITV.

1. Devki from Mukti Bandhan

2. Sonakshi from KRPKAB

3. Swadheenta and her mother in law (Meghna Malik) from Dehleez

4. 2 lead actresses of POW-bandi yuddhh ke

5. Mauli from SBRK.

6. Mrinal from Prithvi Vallabh

7. Anusuya-Lacchi from Porus

8. Sanyukta from Sadda Haq

9. Palak from Dil hi toh hai

10. Anandi

None of these were-are pallu wali bahus except Anandi but these were self-made women who stood for the right and were pretty progressive for their time. They were flawed too in their own ways.

These will always be characters absolutely inspirational for me and I am never gonna forget them. They are all equal to me.

Don't know about all but can guess commonalities between most..

They aren't epitomes of sacrifice forgiving wrong again and again but always stand up for what they believe is right.. They need not fight typical villains to prove their goodness, they prove it everyday by their actions, small decisions and behaviour..

None of them were epitomes for that matter. They were grey in very positive manner. They stood for themselves and their self-respect even when they were sacrificing. They didn't compromise on their individuality or bend down to misogyny and all even when they decided to forgive for their own sake. They did forgive bit only to move on in their life leaving behind the old burden. Compassion and power to forgive is a virtue in my eyes not every one has or handles well.

Very well written post. Mauli is one the best written character in the show. She has and always will be a fighter. She will build herself all over again and be stronger than ever. This reminds me of the bird phoenix where the bird bursts into ashes and is reborn again. She will definitely learn to help herself and consider herself the most important person. When the going gets tough, the tough get stronger, this is how Mauli will be shown later on hopefully.
