The fact that KuNan didn't have many alone scenes kind of also shows that she saw Kunal for how he was with Mauli too. Why is the concept of platonic relationship so far fetched? Love isn't only romantic, love isn't only about physical relationship, it is much deeper, love is when Mauli fights Rajdeep for Nandini, but I bet Mauli is in no way interested in sleeping with Nandini

That's not how it goes, love doesn't always mean romance, it can be platonic too
