Nandini is cold bitten and ill . Kunal realizes and wraps his jacket around her and supports her to the tent . Again like a devoted Angel in disguise he takes care of a feverish Nandini and like a gentleman leaves and spends the night under the open sky.
In the morning Nandini wakes up without remembering any of it and starts looking for him. When she founds him beside the extinguished bonfire, she is in consternation. There is an extreme amount of hesitancy in her eyes to her every bodily gesture; which wasn't there before and we know why.
Nandini wraps him with the duvet and bars his hand from getting burned. Kunal wakes up at that instant. Nandini doesn't realize. She is lost so much in the moment that the world around her melts to nonexistence. Kunal but does catch the look in her eyes and is stunned to see his own emotions reflecting in them. But before he can make a query, unable to meet his gaze, Nandini flees from the spot.
Rajdeep warns Mauli that in future she will regret her decision and that is an ironical statement because we know going by the current flow of events if things go against her favour, no doubt she will regret it big time.
I hope though it doesn't come to that.
"Aankhe jhut nahi bolti..." that's what Kunal says and he knows he has seen that particular emotion in Nandini's eyes. How can he not? Her eyes are so expressive. They always reveal what they go through whether it's brutality or love.
To make sure Kunal goes to ask her yet fate again intervenes. Before he could complete his words Mauli comes out and hugs Kunal. She is elated to have found him. Her joy knew no bounds so much so that she hardly pays any attention to Kunal's forlorn face.
Whereas Nandini shakes with fear and guilt. Mauli thinks it's because of the calamity and assures her everything is safe. They march home together.
Kunal and Nandini both emerge as two different people after the disaster. Both now have an unusual experience and amount of emotions that has changed their thought waves completely. Their journey from here will be intriguing to watch.
Mauli's words in this scene holds a deeper meaning. She says as long as she is there in his heart nothing else matters. Maybe that's a premonition of what is going to happen in future. Besides Kunal's words to Mauli that Nandini is in shock, were ironical. His words were actually intended to shake the truth that Nandini was hiding in her heart so carefully !
Considering the way Nandini is-- this new sensation will evoke a calamity in her life. She will be extremely agitated and lost. And so she is already.
Whereas Kunal is a man and a doctor. He is dealing with hundreds of people everyday so he is capable and smart enough to enclose his thoughts. But that doesn't work in Nandini's case. She is innocent and have had few experiences of dealing with matters that includes a demanding situation such as this.
Nandini has always been a timid and meek creature. Earlier with Rajdeep she has been as afraid as a kitten. And now after much hazard she has got her wings, but again fate disrupts her easy life and the new emotions make things immensely hard for her. She is in great distress. Her heart is beating against her chest like a hammer for something she cannot hide. She has never been good at lying.
For now she is controlling her feelings and I know going by her good nature she will continue to control them but I worry they might take a toll on her. The mental anguish will break her to pieces. Poor Nandini. Wish the man saving her had had no personal ties, then it wouldn't had been so brutal for her. :/
My advice -- it's high time she concentrates on her career and leaves the malhotra house for good.
LOVED THE GAZAL IN THE BACKGROUND. IT WAS DIVINELY SOULFUL!
The precap is scary. Nandini is unable to recollect her emotions! This might lead to God knows what.

And Mauli is a sweetheart. She has a kind heart. I wish and pray it stays like that.
P.P.S. in spite of all the beautiful things, there was a small blooper. Mauli came out from the tent and she asks Kunal where Nandini is yet the whole time Nandini was standing inside the tent ! đ˛
