First of all Drashti is a phenomenal actress, I first came to know her in July 2010 through Geet and ever since no other actor has been able to share her spot, i just love her
Anyway ever since I have followed her:
1. Geet is my favourite bothe due to the character and personal life. Geet was of a girl much before her time, which unfortunately I realised much after once I become more frequent with Indian TV. She is strong, motivated and willingly independent. Geet was, is and forever remain my favourite
2. Though it's early but Nandini is fast becoming such an exceptional actor, you very rarely come across I chafcter that makes sense ie understand her thought process, and Nandini is that for me. Be it her attempt to be free or her reluctance of moving ahead, to me she makes ABSOLUTE sense and I just LOVE her. There's this bubble of protection, I want to be her Mauli lol. She's becoming strong enough to become he own and that to me is a great start
3. Madhubala, ok my memory is bad and from what I remember she was feisty, optimistic and head-strong like how she slapped RK after he assaults her father (Malik) or how she tries n makes her marriage work even though it was by force or contracted. Unfortunately it was a busy year with exams and all, so didn't watch much however did love the bits I did watch
4. Naina/Gayatri, both these women were contrasting yet oddly incomplete. While naina started off as independent, caring and a woman fighting society yet it ended as anything but. Naina though in bets I loved her, like how she gave back to the aunties for her husband but really I find her very confusing, writers did a horrible job but DD ❤️ was a dream. Gayatri however was like the cutest and sweetest, pampered beyond imagination and dreaming above clouds. She was a woman In the wake of a new revolution; interested in reading, believes in equality and a absolute doll. Had the guts to dream, a dream too big but she lived to live that day and I loved her and her father, when I say love I mean I loved like totally loved them. I feel the story had such scope, such promise which I'm afraid the makers failed to sell or achieve. Gayatri fast became a character I disliked, I hated how she become her husbands doormat and she had little or no value other than being the best wife material. I wanted the journey of her becoming the queen and not some Mahaan story of how forgiving and accommodating she could be, in my world she should have felt Ranaji like Geet did when she felt Maan was wrong. Geet had respect for herself like how Nandini is soon gaining hence I like these two women the most. A self respecting individual is always appreciated and welcomed
ESP mention muskaan: unfortunately I only got to watch the clips of Muskaan and Rahul much after Madhubala. So from whatever I watched I've loved the free spirit and jovialness
