@RM14, these dialogues you mention are very beautiful, I know it is so poetic in Hindi, so could you translate these lovely lines you mention, so that we who don't know Hindi much, or know very little, can enjoy learning them. For example these two dialogues you mentioned:

'Nandini telling Kunal .. "Hum koi chidiya nahi hain k pankh failyein aur udd jayein ..hum jaise log udna tab seekhte hain jab paon k neeche se zameen khisak jayee ..tab ya toh khayee man gir jao ya phir udna seekh jao ..hume bhi apna aasmaan khud hi talaashna hoga."

And also

'Nandini to Mauli "Pagal ho gayi ho kya ? itne saalo baad tum hume mili ho ..ye silsila hum yu ji thore tutne denge..chahe humein khud hi tutna pade"

So, can you tell what these dialogues actually and literally say, please? I can understand only words in them, such as searching the sky, birds (or bird), land (ground), and so on. but would like to know how is it expressed, I cannot connect the whole sentence and it would be really wonderful to know such poetic lines, through which we can find out more about Hindi culture. 😊

I am not a bird who can spread wings and fly ..people like us learn to fly when there is not land under our feet and than its up to us whether we fell in gorge or we learn to fly ..so we have to search our sky ourselves..

and second one is :

Are you mad? we met you after long and we won't let this relationship break whether for this we have to break ourself..[means we have to sacrifice or do anything but at any cost we can't let this friendship aftect.]

In my mother tongue, birds and their flight are also synonymous words for freedom or a person who yearns for freedom.
