We are in a country where the crime rate against women are increasing day by day in the form of physical violence, dowry, female infanticides, rape, honor killing, sexual assault(marital rape) and so on.

I am appalled to see the hatred these victims are getting.I am stunned to see the mindset of people towards the victims.

The bottomline is, every one talks about Women empowerment, but when it comes to the real implementation people don't even want to treat them as one among them, forget about empowering them

Excellent view .As the men are responsible for doing these Heinous crimes. some women are equally responsible for putting up with these kind of abuses. It actually makes these men feel that they can do whatever and get away 🤢.

^NO woman should be held responsible for the abuse she is getting! No woman deserves domestic violence or sexual abuse! This victim blaming mentality should stop.Holding the victim responsible is only going to shift the blame from the actual perpetrator ,i.e.the abuser. Why should women be held responsible for domestic abuse just because some of them don't really have the courage to walk out of it.?The blame should and must entirely and entirely lie with the abuser .No woman is responsible for it or deserves it. Some may walk out and some may stay back because of financial dependence, societal stigma, lack of self confidence or holding a belief that her husband will change some day..Many reasons as to why they put up with such men but NONE of them deserve the abuse. We need to stop with victim blaming and focus on the real problem- the abuse and the lack of strict laws for such crimes in our country along with lack of awareness and education about the same. Victim blaming is only going to aggravate our already terrible situation in regards to such crimes by taking away from the primary focus (the abuser and the laws related to domestic and sexual violence in our country)..

You raise valid point dear..agree and its not done if someone term them as "Abla naari"
there are many factors as to which one can became this much feeble that they loose their confidence..they think themselves as loosers as they don't have strength to fight back but its just till than they can think that how much strong they are..if they can bear so much pain ..think that how much strong they are coz week people can't turn strong just like that ..so their is very much strength in them and they are not abla naari ..and the day they realize this ..they got the lost confidence and they can deal with situation than..
so ya their abusive husbands should stop demeaning them and here one can't blame wholely the wife ..she still does what can be done but when one don't want to see the good in her like Rajdeep here ..than? so blaming the wife fully is not right.

To me it looks like mocking someone's painful situation!! And so it definitely isn't right! And coming to the situation of Nandini! We saw that she was not only physically tortured, but also mentally abused!! From the beginning, she was treated and bullied in such a way that she has even forgotten that she can even talk by herself!! We have seen her protesting in small occasions!! Only that for for a stronger protest, she needs a bit of push or support!! And yess, THIS happens in real!! Mocking such people's situation can never seem right to me at least!!
