EastEnders (British soap opera, running for like 20+ years) showcased the story of Little Mo who was very similar to Nandini, but she didn't wear fancy clothes rather hid away in sleeved tops and long shirts. Trevor was abusive, rapist and everything evil rolled into one. While Rajdeep gives you moments of comedy with Abhinav's method of acting, Trevor only made you puke. HE WAS PLAIN EVIL. Anyway, Mo had sisters; four (I think). Each very strong and independent, a grandma and a father, very strong mouthed. But here Nandini has no one, so its justified in a way of why she is the way she is.
I was told every person is their own individual, no two people are the same. Similarly Nandini even though she has a friend like Mauli is still very different, quite submissive and abiding; just like little Mo though she had quite outspoken and feisty sisters, she was timid and scared. What I am trying to say is; family and background at times have nothing to do with a person's character and nor does education. It's the circumstance that changes or moulds you
Little Mo (played by Kacy Ainsworth) depicted the role of such a woman with such finesse, and similarly Drashti is doing a remarkable job. Kacy went onto win numerous accolades and awards, and I hope Drashti goes on to do the same. Both these beautiful women shed light onto dismal realities which need highlighting.
In the end Little Mo attacks Trevor with a hot iron, which I think killed him (can't remember it was centuries ago and I was so very young). Though I don't hope to see the same end with Rajdeep because the murder (?) trials were quite gruesome (mentally), however I do want to see Nandini fight back. Trevor and Rajdeep where miles apart, they say there's different layers of baddies, maybe Trevor was the worst of its kind but creepdeep isn't far off. However Little Mo and Nandini are very similar, almost akin hence I feel so much protection for her. I couldn't really understand or voice out my opinion over Little Mo's misfortune however I can share my views on Nandini and to me she is a woman on her own, not because Drashti is playing her (though that adds value, believe me guys DD is my love lol) but more so because I sort of understand her and her reasons of staying behind.
I wish for the CVs to continue telling us their story and show the changes that occur once Mauli enters however I do hope it isn't rushed. I don't want to see timid to overnight fighter in Nandini, I'd rather prefer a true depiction.
I hope Nandini attacks the possession Rajdeep loves so much, his money. Leaves him squandering on the streets, however hoping he meets his true home: prison. How do you hope Nandini ends her miseries? Are there any who will accept Rajdeep and Nandini as one?
Guys I'd really like to have a discussion, no bashing please. I'd like to understand the different (even opposing) opinions of others. And of course feel free to applause DDs acting lol
I have added Little Mo and Trevor's video, for those that are interested. It's really old, so bear with guys. Might be little confusing too because it's a compiled video. Watch the end 7:32, its kind of good; even I didn't know she sets him on fire lol. I can so imagine creepdeep on fire lol.
